Atlas's P.O.V

'Come on,' I thought, as I looked at the clock. I was ready for this day to be over. The teacher was droning with the lesson he planned today, and I was ready to go home and rest. I watched the clock as the second ticked, ever so slowly. I was ready for this class to be over. I was going to meet my best friend Jason, and we were going to hang out after school but the bell seemed to take forever to ring.

I was starting to restless and the weather was starting to react to my emotions. The sky started to get cloudy, and the wind started to pick up outside. I was also thinking about what my father had told me earlier.

'Atlas, you must meet me after school. We're meeting an old friend of mine. We have lots of things to discuss son.'

While I was thinking my teacher decided to call my name, snapping me to attention.

"Mr. Accel, could you tell me the answer to this~," just then the bell rung, cutting my teacher off. I quickly got out of my seat, and sped out to the hallway before he could stop me.

Just as I got to the front of the school so I could meet Jason, a power surge threw me back. I was flung to the wall, hitting my head, and my vision blurred. As it started to clear, I noticed I was wasn't the only one affected. Almost everyone was on the ground or descending from the sky. There was a very powerful aura behind that power surge.

'What was that,' I thought. That was a very powerful surge and I don't know anybody with that amount of power. The only ones with that amount of power were the Vestroians, but they're extinct aren't they?

I shook the thought out of my head, and headed off of school grounds to see my dad. Once I was off I felt my other powers flow through me, and I sped off home. Still, where did that power come from?

Jay's P.O.V

              "He's my mate."
              "HE'S my mate."
              "He's MY MATE."

That is all that was coming to my head. A repetition of this phrase over and over again. I felt the pain of betrayal and the heavy weight of sadness that has descended on my heart. I knew somehow that Jason wasn't my mate, but it still hurt me deep.

Now I must figure out who my mate is, but right now I'm too upset. My aura kept bursting at random times, but I would have move from spot to spot when it happened. I was starting to get tired, so I decided to shift and go home. I shifted into my pure white wolf with eyes that shifted colors constantly.

I just felt like going home and laying down. I'm still overcomed with shock. I started running, just thinking about the whole ordeal.

'Well at least it saved me the pain of figuring it out later in time,' I thought.

I hadn't realized I had got home until I stepped over the boundary line I set with magic. I shifted back into human form, and proceeded to walk across the yard to the back door. I walked in and headed for the stairs, until my mother stopped me.

"Hey," my mother said. "We have guests right now, and a lot to discuss."
Now this peeked my curiosity because whenever had guests, not even my friends came over.
"What is mother? Is something wrong cause we never have guests," my tone laced with worry. I was exhausted, but there was some adrenaline rushing through my veins at the thought of danger for my family.
"Well other than power surges, there are some more important matters involving our home," my mother said fixing me with a stern gaze. "Now come."
I followed her through the house until we came to the living room. In there were three people that I didn't recognize. My aura and magic started to flare, but I dimmed it down when my mother fixed me with a steely gaze.
"These are our guests, not enemies."
I still wasn't reassured. But I just decided to observe the three people. The first I looked at was the woman. She had a nice figure with voluptuous curves. Her face was heart shaped with almond shaped eyes, and full red lips. And it was all framed in dark curls that reached the middle of her back. She had a nice bust and seem to look like she was classic dainty woman. She wore a royal blue strapless dress with slits on the side to prevent restricted movement, with black heels that has straps that reached mid calf.
When I looked into her eyes, I took everything back. Her stormy blue-grey eyes were the eyes of a warrior. I saw storms at there worst and lightning arcing in the sky, waiting to be used and set something alight. Tornados and hurricanes wrecking havoc on the land. She looked like she could be your worst enemy or your strongest ally. I recognized her as Stormian.
Stormians are a strong race of people who's name gave away there powers. The people there were able to control and manipulate the weather. There power was great, but it most of the people were arrogant, since they could control a powerful domain. Only the strongest were able to create different storms, including fire, meteor, and rock storms.
And from what I could tell from this woman, she was one of the few who could. A leader and council member to her people.
The man on the other hand didn't seem to know when to stop moving. He was restless, always moving his eyes back and forth but wasn't like he was scared. It was more on the fact he was probably always on the move. He was a tall man from what I could tell, even if he was sitting down. He was brown skinned man with sandy brown eyes. His air was dark black and long. He had it tied in a ponytail and it was shining in the light. He wore a camouflage cloak with a black shirt underneath. The shirt clung to his body, and showed a fitting form that was hidden underneath.
His eyes had a mischievous glance and now that I looked closer at him he seemed to vibrate with energy. I sensed his aura and i finally figured out what species he was. He was a Speedorian.
Speedorians are a race of people who's power is based on speed. They are very quick and light on there feet. They use their speed to their advantage, able to move faster than the blink of and eye. They are able to also vibrate fast enough to make things faze through them, or for them to faze through something of there choice. With age for the race comes the experience for them to get stronger with their powers.
Only the strongest Speedorians are able to manipulate energy around them for offense or defense. They are also able to generate electricity. And only some are fast and strong enough to move faster then the speed light, as well as moving fast enough to run through dimensions to get to a new destination. They can be formidable opponents against anyone who is unlucky.
I sensed all of this in the Elder Speedorian, but I gave no hints that I know what he was, or that I knew his abilities. At least I knew as to why he was so restless, he has a lot of energy that he's trying to get rid of. I felt a little wary of him, so I used my ability to cut off everyone's powers in the room but me and my mother.
The man calmed down, but then tensed when he realized his powers were blocked. The woman was a bit confused, and the tensed as well and her expression became guarded. The last occupant was just confused until I realized who it was. I smelt a delightful smell coming off of him. It smelled of chocolate, the rain, and a musky scent.
The scent was driving me crazy, but I acted indifferent. I was still shocked at the fact of who was in front of me. The power of storms and speed was trying to get free, of it's restraint.
It was none other Atlas Accel in my living room, and he was mate....
