The Ball

~ 3rd person's pov. ~
It was a couple days after the battle against the dragons, when the king announced that there would be a ball held at the castle for the guilds that participated in the games, as well as defeating their attackers. It was also announced that the guilds would be allowed to get ready and spend the night at the castle, and that it was going to be held tonight.
This caused the girls from the guilds (Mira mostly) besides Skyler, start freaking out about what they were going to wear to the ball.

"Hey Skyler! Why aren't you worried about what your going to wear for the ball???" Lucy asked the pink haired girl who was standing besides her brother.

"Huh? Oh, well I don't think Natsu will let me go so I'm not really worried, besides if I did go I probably already have a dress I could wear" Skyker replies to her.

"What?! Natsu! Please tell me your going to let Skyler go!!" Lucy yells/ freaks out to Natu.

"Nope, she's not going. There's going to be a bunch of guys from Blue Pegasus there and they'll just try hitting on her" Natsu says while crossing his arms, trying to make himself look like his decision was final.

Lucy looked at him with her mouth gapping until she got an idea. She turned and looked over to the white haired bar Mage who was talking to the red haired knight," Mira! Erza! Natsu won't let Skyler go to the ball!" Lucy yells over to them.

As soon as they hear this, their heads snap over to their direction at break-neck speed,"what?!" They yelled out at the same time.

"I said Na-" Lucy tried to say but was cut off by Mira who was making her way over to Natsu with a dark Ora surrounding her with Erza at her side cracking her knuckles.

"I heard the fist time" Mira said as she looked down at Natsu who looked like he wanted to be anywhere but where he was right now.

"So what's this we hear about you not letting Skyler go to the ball?" Erza asked Natsu while glaring.

"T-there will be perverts there! I don't what them seeing her!" Natsu says/ yells in his defense while hiding behind a confused Skyler who was trying to piece together what was napping in front of her.

"She WILL go to the ball. You WILL let her go. And we WILL worry about the perverts, now do I make myself clear?" Mira says while looking at Natsu with a sickly sweet smile on her face that made her look cheerful but her black Ora said otherwise.

"Y-yes ma'am" Natsu says while still hiding behind Skyler.

"YES!!" Lucy says with stars in her eyes in the background.

- time skippy to the ball -

~ Lucy's pov. ~
"Where's my sister?" I hear Natsu ask from behind me.

I turn around and cross my arms at him," she's still getting ready, Erza is with her so calm down" I tell him a bit annoyed about how overprotective he was being at the moment.

"Ok.." He mumbles then walks over to the food table and started to stuff his face.

I sigh and go back to talking with the princess about my spirits.

~ Skyler's pov. ~
After a while Erza had finally finished torturing me. (I mean making me look pretty).

"Was all this really necessary?" I asked Erza as I looked down at myself.
