[TRIGGER WARNING]

Jasmine's stepmother was still flabbergasted by what Jasmine said. Wrath grew in her stepmother's heart. Jasmine didn't know what she was in for. A lot of pain.

Jasmine was thinking about what she said to her stepmother. She didn't regret it, but later would. Jasmine was getting ready for Joshes party in her room. She put on her dress first, then her eye contacts, then her wig. She went over to the dusty old mirror that nobody had used for years, and looked at herself. She looked different. Like someone new. She liked being someone else. Not somebody who was ugly or overweight and didn't like herself, as Jasmine would say to herself all the time. But Jasmine wasn't overweight or ugly. She was actually very beautiful compared to her stepsisters. Jasmine put on her old sneakers and some makeup to hide her scars. Yes, Jasmine cut herself. All the time. No one had ever seen her scars. Not even her father. Jasmine sighed and opened up her wooden creaky door. *CREEEAAAKKK* She walked out of her room and closed the door behind her. She knew something would change tonight. She then walked down the grand stairs very quietly toward the back door. Nobody noticed her, of course. She walked out the back door. Just then, Jasmine forgot about where the party was going to be at. But all of her stepsisters were going to the party. Jasmine heard a car start in the driveway. She creeped toward the driveway, staying by the bushes. April was getting in her car with Rosetta and Summer.

"It's nice that they forgot about me" Jasmine said quietly. The car backed up slowly towards the right. Then the car fully backed out and backed up just a little bit more, then it went straight. As the car drove farther and farther away Jasmine opened the garage door and got her bike,  to catch up with her sistersl , she speedily started going down the driveway following the car, hoping not to be seen.
