Kayla walked out of the cafeteria so it was just me and Mr Stranger. Our eyes met and locked in a gaze. "So, are you ready to have the time of your life?" He smirked. I rolled my eyes "unlike some people, I actually care about school". He walked towards me, slowly and swiftly, and grabbed my hand. Before I had a chance to protest, he was already pulling me outside. "Cameron! I hardly know you and you're already a bad influence on me" I laughed, eventually letting loose. He winked at me and pulled me towards a car. "Is this your car?" I asked surprised. He nodded while laughing, "guessing by your surprise, I should be offended". I snapped to attention "oh my gosh, sorry no I just didn't realise that you ---", "yeah I know, you wouldn't expect a guy like me with a car like this" he interrupted. I smiled trying to hide my embarrassment.

A half hour drive later me and Cameron were sat on the beach, listening to the waves crashing against the shore and the calls of the seagulls above. It was quite perfect, even though I hardly knew the guy. "I actually brought you here for a reason" he mentioned, "I want to get to know you and what better place to do that than the beach?". I drew my attention from the waves to his eyes. They were full of honesty and innocence. "Okay then Dallas, what do you want to know?" I asked, flirtatiously. He laughed and then went serious, "Have you always lived in California?". I went silent and he eventually noticed. I thought it was about time I get all this shit off my chest, even if it was to a stranger. "No I haven't, I moved here a few years ago from North Carolina, I grew up there with my older brother" I responded confidently. "What made you leave?" He asked, turning his body to face me. I gulped and inhaled smelling all the scents the beach had to offer. "Just had a few issues back there, nothing serious" I said. "Did it involve someone named Nash?" He asked. I looked at him completely shocked. How did he know about him?  I didn't speak for a minute or two. I was trying to come to terms with the fact that Cameron knew something about me that I never told anyone down here. "Well?" he asked. I stuttered "Ho -- how the hell do you know that name?". He chuckled lightly "Sasha calm down, there's no need to freak out. It's just a name of a person".  I shuffled away from him a little "No, it's not just a name! If you knew --- actually take me back to school". He took my hand and held it in his, "Whoa hey, calm down. Talk to me. What's happened? Why are you freaking out?". I knew deep down he was being sincere, then again I didn't really. I hardly knew this guy. "Take me back to school now Cameron" I urged. He eventually gave in and drove me back to the school. The journey back was completely silent. No words were exchanged, no conversation and no music. We pulled up at the school and I rushed out the car into the school. When I looked through the glass in the entrance door, I could see Cameron still sat in his car. I pulled out my phone and dialled Kayla's number. She finally picked up after two missed calls. "Hey Sasha, is everything okay? aren't you supposed to be with Cameron?" she asked. I exhaled. "Where are you? I need to talk to you like right now, and no this cannot wait under any circumstances!". She realised I was being serious so she told me to meet her in the cafeteria as it was still empty.

I ran into the cafeteria and she was sat there, nervously biting her nails. "There you are! What's going on? Why are you back at school already?" she exclaimed. I stared at her for a second, thinking in my head about how I was going to phrase this. "Cameron took me to the beach, it was beautiful as the sun was shining brightly at us. He wanted to get to know me. All was going well until... well until he mentioned Nash. I only just met the guy, I never told him about Nash so unless Cameron knows him personally, I don't know how he found out". Kayla's jaw dropped leaving her mouth wide open. "Oh my god! How the hell did Nash even become on board of the topic's list?" she cried. "Well he asked me if I had lived in California all my life. I told him I hadn't as that's the truth. I told him that I moved from North Carolina. He then asked me why I moved and then he asked me if I moved because of a guy called Nash". She looked at me, stunned at how calm I was. "And I think Cameron knows something's up as I completely freaked out. Kayla you're my best friend so you already know what Nash did and why I left there". She managed to calm down "Okay, here's the plan. You need to find out as much as you can about Cameron. It might mean you'll have to get close to him but we have to find out how he knows about Nash being in your life, and worse case scenario, see if the only reason Cameron has taken a liking to you is because he's working with Nash or they're planning something together. Either way, you have to be careful in where you go with Cameron and what you tell him. Don't make it obvious that you're fishing for information basically. I'll be here every step of the way. If things go to shit then we get through it together, okay?". I smiled and nodded "Okay, let's do it."
