"Kriiiiiingggg!" Jane's alarm clock woke her in its raucous sound.

She walked straight downstairs and ate her breakfast after taking a bath. That's her daily routine. After a bath, she put on her glasses. She always ask herself what's wrong with her. Is there something? She always feel different from others.

It is the first day of school when she met her new teachers, staffs, and the principal. To her surprise, she saw Jason. He already has new friends. It's so easy for him to get friends because of his good looks.

Well, as a nerd, you're a no one. Always invisible, quiet, kill joy, and the top 1 of the class. You're not cool, you're not sassy, a fashionista, an adventurous person, a person who always want to hang out, and all other sophisticated things. All you master is reading books and being simple, accepting what you are but somehow you wanted to be new. You wanted to change because you're tired of hearing unpleasant words.

She definitely didn't speak a word when she saw him. But he saw her. He smiled at her when he passed by. Her heartbeat was fast. It feels like her internal organs were falling because of the joy she felt.

She walked to her room to stop the feeling she felt. She was so tensed when she entered the room. All eyes looking at her. She sat quietly and carefully to her seat. She probably was not the only nerd in that room. There are two more sitting beside her. They are Louis and Carmen.

"Hi," Carmen said softly.

"Hello," said Jane.

"You new here?" Louis said happily.

"Yes, I am," she said quietly.

They were quiet when they had a conversation. It prevents the others not to hear much of the words the say. But they don't care anyway. They are the three losers.

Louis and Carmen were both so happy because they have another person to talk to. A friend whom they can share their feelings and emotions with.

Together, they ate lunch and went home to their own houses.

"How's the school, Honey?" Jane's mom asked with a sweet voice.

"It's..... fine. New friends, new-"

"Oh, you met new friends? Aww, that's good darling." she cut.

"Y-yeah. They are also like me, you know."

"Oh, I see. But can you make friends to normal people?" she added.

"I can't. They're so different." Jane said sadly.

"Ok. It's alright, Honey. Just forget about them."

She hugged her and kissed her.

Jane just went up straight to her bed and slept for an hour.

Her mom woke her up and called her for dinner.

Well, it's just her and her mom. Her dad left them. She's an only child.

After the meal, she took a bath and watched her favorite movie. She prepared her things for school. She let her hair dry while watching the movie before she sleep.

When it's time to sleep, she quickly went off to her bed and slept. That's just the beginning of her life in her new school.
