I was walking in the hallway with my three best friends, Kathryn, Trizia and Anne. We were talking 'bout random sh*t when Trizia brought up an interesting topic, "Are you ever gonna tell Matt that you like him?" She asked, I shook my head. "It's quite obvious, though," Anne said, "I know, but I don't want him ignoring me because he knows I like him,"

I could see it in there faces that they agreed, let's be honest, Matt may be nice, but he's kinda predictable.

"Maybe, he likes you too." Trizia added while she was smiling.

I was about to reply when the bell rang, signaling that lunch was over. Many of the pupils ran, including me.

It was history class and I was, of course, not listening. I was scribbling stuff in my notebook, I was thinking of what Trizia said. It got my head thinking for two hours, damn Trizia, always needing to mess things up. Have you read How to be a Girl [It's a very good book]? Well apparently, Grace is Trizia!

I was beside Robert at the back, I didn't really know him, all I know is that he likes Angeline, he was listening to whoever was teaching, I tried striking up a conversation, "Um, hi?" was all I could say.

"Oh, hello... Kaitlene, right?" I nodded.

"I heard you like Matt," he bursted.

"How did- I mean, hell no!"

He rolled his eyes, "Everyone knows, Kait. Rumors spread fast, you know?"

I nodded, "Fuck," I murmured, fortunately, he laid low.

"But, who knows? Maybe he doesn't," he said, trying to cheer me up.

"What about you and that Angeline chick?" I got his full attention, I was about to laugh when I noticed him gulped, "Don't worry, man. She doesn't know," He sighed, I sighed of relief, of course.

"And I'm not planning to tell her," he said.

"Why very much not?" I asked, confused. He actually had a chance, I guess.

"I just don't like her ignoring me because she finds out I like her..." he said with his voice trailing off.

"I feel ya' bro."
