Naruto looked at the clock on the wall, sighing as the small hand seemed to tick much slower then before, taunting him. When does class end? To kill time Naruto looked around his classroom, searching for something, anything, to distract him from his boredom.

He could somewhat make out what the teacher, Iruka, was talking about. Something to do  the History of Konoha and those who founded the place, nothing too interesting.

The blond covered his mouth to supress his yawn as he already knew everything that Iruka was talking about since he had read the entire section of their history book they had been assigned.

His blue eyes finally landed on one of his friends that seemed to not be paying attention either. It was none other then Sasuke Uchiha, the heart breaker that rivaled himself.

"Uzumaki, who founded Konoha?" Iruka asked, cutting through Naruto's train of thought, and finally capturing his full attention.

Iruka's arms were crossed in front of him, his right index finger tapping against his left bicep rhythmically. To say he was upset that Naruto wasn't paying attention would be an understatement.

Naruto bit his lip in frustration as everyone stared at him, devilish grins on their faces, some even laughing at their fellow classmate. He could hear whispers saying that maybe his brain had finally rotted.

There's something suffocating about the looks his classmates give him, something that makes him feel like he's alone in a room full of people.

"Hashirama Senju" He mumbled, trying to keep calm.

"Can you repeat that, loud enough for the whole class to hear?" Iruka asked, cupping his right hand and bringing it to his ear, waiting for Naruto to repeat himself.

More kids begin to laugh at Naruto, and it's embarrassing.

He looks back over to Sasuke who offered a smile, reassuring him that he was not alone. Naruto smiles back.

"It was Hashirama Senju, Iruka Sensei!" Naruto spat, silencing the entire room.

Iruka's scowled at Naruto before turning his attention back to the entire class, continuing on with the lesson.

Sasuke's smile slowly faded away as he turned to face the front of the class, somewhat listening to the lesson. He had been surprised that Naruto kept his composure as he was known to be hotheaded and irrational.

10 minutes passed before the bell had finally rung, signaling the end of the class period. Naruto was among the first to exit the class, pushing past a hoard of students until he left that hell of a classroom.

"Hey, Naruto!" a familiar voice called out for him.

Naruto groaned as he turned to see the girl he had woken up in bed with a couple feet away, surrounded by her friends. Her name coming back a lot easier then it had before. Rin Nohara

What she could possibly want with him? Did she not understand that it was one night and nothing more? This wasn't the first time a one night stand had come back to him in hopes of having something more, but that never happened.

Rin smiled as she whispered something to one of her friends which caused them to giggle. Naruto rolled his eyes as he waited impatiently for her to hurry up and talk to him. He was a busy man.

"I was wondering if you would want to go to the upcoming dance with me?" Her voice was low and she sounded as if she was shy.

Naruto raised his eyebrows, confused, not expecting her to ask that. At the most he expected her to ask for another fuck, but to actually as him, Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, to a dance? That was absurd.

Rin looked back to her friends, smiled, and gave a thumbs up, signaling it was going good. They all stared in disbelief, smiling, and talking among themselves.

Naruto continued to stare at her, wondering how naive and dumb she could possibly be. All she was to him was a mediocre fuck, nothing more, and probably something less.

Naruto placed his hand on her shoulder and smiled.

"Of course I wouldn't go to the dance with you, Rin. What we had was nothing more then a one night stand, and I'm sorry that you even thought it was something more" Naruto said, bluntly, that stupid smile still on his face.

Rin's smile slowly faltered, her head cocking to the side in confusion. Her head sunk down, her brown hair covering most of her face, but Naruto could see the tears filling her eyes. She didn't say another word as she walked over to her friends, the group of girls going to comfort her.

Naruto sighed, heading to his next class as he was now going to be late thanks to Rin.

"You need to stop sleeping with girls and then breaking their hearts. It isn't fair to them and you know it." Sasuke said as he walked up to Naruto.

Naruto rolled his eyes at Sasuke's comment. In fact, it would make Sasuke a hypocrite as he slept around with more girls than he did, and made a sport out of it.

Sasuke took notice of Naruto rolling his eyes, and laughed at the hypocrisy of what he said, Naruto laughing along with him.

"Man Sasuke, you really got me with that one." Naruto said as he punched Sasuke in the shoulder.

The Uchiha rubbed his arm, mouthing 'ouch' in a mocking way.

They walked in silence for a bit as they got closer to their next period class. Naruto stared at the wooden door, knowing that the teacher, Ibiki, was going to put them through hell if they walked in late. Maybe they could make it before the bell rung.

Luck was not on there side as the bell rung signaling they were late, and that would add on to the punishment.

Naruto looked at the raven, both of them thinking the same thing. It would be better to ditch then to face Ibiki's wrath.

"Let's ditch today, go home, and maybe party?" Sasuke suggested as he turned around, walking away from class.

Naruto threw his hands behind his head and ran to catch up to Sasuke.

Naruto thought about the many times they use to ditch class, and how his father found out. From what Sasuke told him, if he even so much as left a second earlier, he would have hell to pay.

The days that Sasuke would ditch school, the day after he would be more docile, and he never had the guts to ask what happened.

Whatever it was, Sasuke endure, for him. He couldn't help but smile as he thought of everything Sasuke had done for him, and it made him feel something he hadn't felt since his parents were alive.
