Chapter 4: Gaining her trust

Recaps: I took one last glance at my new friend who seemed to be looking at Harlock's scar with amusement.

Harlock's pov:
After what happened yesterday I was determined to gain Caitlin's trust "what are you doing" I asked her as I walked up to her and saw her tracing circles on the bed sheets
and she nodded "do you want to go to the captain's deck with me" I asked her as she nodded a yes "come" I said as I extended my hand and she took it 'does she only speak to Logan' my friend asked 'she will not speak to him until she speaks to me' I told him 'very well' he said as I left the room with Caitlin's hand entwined in mine.
We had arrived at the captains deck to see Logan their looking forward in case any enemy ships appeared "Logan you may leave" I said as he nodded and left, I sat down with Caitlin on my lap "what do you want to do" I asked her as she shrugged "OK how about we talk about our past" I said to her as she nodded "I'll go first" I told her as she nodded again "when I was small I used to pretend I was captain of my dad's ship as my parents watched me and smiled" I told her "your turn" I said as she looked at me "when I was small I used to take care of my little brother" she spoke and I smiled "what about your dad what did he do" I asked her "he died a few years after Sam's birth due to over exposure of some sort of deadly chemical he was working with" she said as I saw a tear fall from her beautiful eyes "I'm sorry" I said to her as I hugged her tightly and made her put her head on my chest as she cried "he was a great dad" she said "Shh love I'm here now I'll take good care of you" I said as she looked at me and smiled "how did you get that scar" she asked me as she traced over the scar in my face and I smiled as her hand my contact with my skin "during the home coming war a few years ago in which I released the dark matter on to earth then tried to destroy the whole universe but when Logan showed me the flower I stopped my ambitions and began looking for you" I said as I caressed her cheeck "why me" she asked "because a year after I stopped trying
to destroy the universe I began dreaming about you and when I told Miime about it she said you were meant to be mine" I said as she just stared at me for a while "creepy but OK" she said as I chuckled "I was expecting a slap or something from you but I like that better" I said, "do you want me yo slap you" she asked "no thank you" I said as she looked at me "good cause you don't want one from me" she said.
I raised an eyebrow then smirked as I thought of something "maybe I want you to touch me but not a slap something else" I said as her eyes widened "Harlock what is with you and your thoughts" she said as she hit my shoulder "what, your my wife what's the crime in thinking a little dirty about you" I said "seriously Harlock" she said looking at me "yes seriously and I'm also happy I finally gained your trust and now I can hear your beautiful voice" I said as she smiled "well you really deserved it so I officaly trust you now" she said as I smiled "thats good" I said as the other crew members began to walk in including Logan. We watched the crew as they worked will I held Caitlin protectively around her waist "so is this all you do" she asked me as I looked at her and nodded "yes love" I responeded "OK" she said as she went back to looking towards the glass and out the window "like the view" I asked her and she nodded a yes not looking towards me, that's when I noticed she was glancing towards Logan as he did the same "come on Caitlin let's go to our room" I said as she stood up and I quickly stood up with her. I walked towards the room and when we got inside I made her look at me "why do you keep on looking at Logan I'm your husband not him" I said angrily "calm down Harlock he's just my friend" she said "no I don't want you to look,talk or even touch him understood" I said as she loomed at me with anger in her eyes "you can't tell me what to do Harlock" she said "really now" I told her "yep" she said "alright then you're not allowed to leave this room" I said as she looked shocked "you can't do that" she said "I'm the captain of this ship and also you're husband I can tell you what to do whenever I want to" I said as I saw her tearing up "really so you can just kidnap me then be my husband out of the blue and say you love me when I don't even know if you are lying or not and just want to use me like the other men did" she said tears streaming down her face "I'm sorry lov-" "no don't you im sorry love me Harlock" she said cutting me off "please love don't be mad at me I didn't know and I would never use you" I said as I felt a tear escape my eyes 'I will protect her Harlock and so will you' my friend said 'thank you old friend' I said as I put Caitlin on my lap and let her cry until she fell asleep.
