At 5:30am, September 7th, 2015, Abigail Henri was awakened by her blaring alarm clock. This was nothing new, except for the fact that this day marked her first day at Weston Highschool, NY. Abigail was 15, a freshman. Almost all the kids in her grade were going to be new to the highschool, yet still she was different. The previous 14 years of her life had been spent in a small town in Massachusetts. This day was going to change her life.

Abigail slugged out of her bed and to her bureau. Pulling off the oversized Mayday Parade shirt and spandex material shorts she had been sleeping in, she hopped into the shower. Several minutes later she walked back into her room and began to look through her clothes. Eventually she slipped in to black lace panties and a matching bra, plain ripped blue jeans, a Nirvana tee and tied a red and black flannel around her waist. She then searched the room desperately for a pair of matching socks. Being as most of her stuff was still packed up, she settled for two, different shades of purple, ankle socks. She quickly grabbed her velvet choker as she walked to her makeup desk.

Yes, Abigail had a desk all for her makeup. It was one of the few things she cared enough about to unpack. Looking at her bedside clock blinking 6:07 she rushed to put on some simple winged eyeliner and mascara, and a tiney bit of lip gloss. She then made her way to the bathroom, where she put her long brown hair in a messy bun, leaving a few curled stands out next to her bangs. She looked in the mirror for a bit longer, talking in her appearance.

Standing at 5'8" Abigail was considered tall for a girl. She had a decent body, normal boobs and a butt she though was kinda cute. She wasn't necessarily unhappy with her appearance, but it wasn't what she considered perfect either.

"Abby!"

She suddenly heard her name being called from downstairs, and when she looked at the clocked reading 6:20 she quickly slipped on Greg converse and ran downstairs.

"Sorry! I was, um, thinking? Anyway, what time do we have to leave to get to school on time?"

"You have five minutes," replied her older brother Chase.

"Okay I'll meet you in your car," she responded.

Remainig silent, Chase then walked out their front door.  Abigail ran to the cabinet and grabbed a granola bar, scarfing it down and making her way to the door. Then suddenly she remembered something.

"Shit! My phone!"

Almost tripping in the process, she dashed up the stairs to her room, ripping her phone off the charger. She then grabbed her tangled, balled up ear buds and made her way back yo the front door, shouting a quick "bye dad!" Before waiting for a response. Nothing. Her was probably still asleep. With all that done, Abby finally made her way to the car.

"About time. What took you so long?" Her brother scoffed as she hopped into the passanger seat of her brothers 67' impala. She glanced at the dashboard clock.

"I was litteraly in there for three minutes, dude," she replied, to which her brother only rolled his eyes. He then perceded to turn on his radio, in turn blasting 679 by Fetty Wap. This time it was Abby rolling her eyes. Not really caring for this type of music, she carelessly untangled her earbuds and started to play Duality by Slipknot. She turned the volume up so loud it hurt her ears, and that was the way she liked it. So she just sat and tried to enjoy the car ride without letting the anxiety of having a completely new start not sink in.
