London rain knocked on the doors and windows at Anne’s Foster Care and Orphanage Home. The thin walls barely kept the cold rain out, for the Foster Home had little money to build better walls. The howling winds outside kept all the kids in a nervous state as they did their daily chores and things. It was a normal Sunday in London.
