3 years later.
(A/N:Ney 19,Rafa 16,Zen 15)
N:Come on Zen. Why are you
walking so slow?
Neymar said. He noticed how her mood just changed. This morning she was happy that Neymar finally had time to train with her but now she's just sad.
N:Is everything ok?
Z:Yep I'm fine
She said with a fake smile.They kept walking. When they reached the field Zen's eyes widened when she saw Jason kissing a girl. Jason was Zen's boyfriend. She broke up with him because she caught him kissing that very same girl during lunch. When she asked why he did this to her. He confessed that it was all just a bet to get her to fall for him. He told her that she was like a puppet who fell right into his trap.He said that infront of a whole group of kids. Everyone laughed at her.She really liked him but she wasnt gonna let that affect her. Neymar was here to help her train and she was gonna show him how grateful she is by working hard and showing him that she's improving.
N:Zen your not ok. Talk to me.
He said giving her a worried look as they sat down on the grass. She didnt say anything. She just starred. Neymar followed her gaze. He's eyes landed on Jason and that girl making out.
N:Do you know that kid?
Z:Jason
N:Jason? Jason as in your
boyfriend Jason.
Neymar had never met him but Zen told him about Jason.
Z:Ex boyfriend
N:What?
Z:I broke up with him this
afternoon.
N:Why?
Z:I caught him with her.
N:You mean he cheated on you.
Z:Yep
Zen went to go get the soccer balls which were by the bleachers which is where Jason and his groupies were. When Zen walked past them they decided to tease her.
"Seriously Zen you cant date your age. Isnt he like 19"
Jason's new girlfriend said referring to Neymar.
J:You know Zen your lucky I
stuck it out with you for so
long. I really didnt mean to
break your heart but then
again your just a silly little
girl.
He said with a sarcastic tone.With tears in her eyes she picked up the balls and ran to Neymar as they laughed at her.
When Neymar saw this he was infuriated. Neymar jumped to his feet and headed over to Jason. Zen followed behind him not knowing what his intentions were.
Z:Ney where are you going?
N:To teach him a lesson
Z:No you'll just make things
worse.
She tried to stop him but he wasnt listening. He tapped Jason shoulder.
N:You think this is funny huh?
J:It kinda is
N:I'm glad Zen broke up with
you cause your just a little
good for nothing bastard that
doesnt have anything better
to do than play with other
people's emotions.
J:Playing with her emotions.
Well boo hoo. Who cares?
She's a stupid little bitch who
cant take a joke.
As soon as those words left Jason's mouth Neymar punched him in the face. He fell to the ground but got up again and tried to attack Neymar. Soon they were rolling on the grass throwing punches at each other. By now Jason's nose was bleeding. Zen tried to break them apart but she was shoved out of the way she hit the ground with her right arm first. She screamed as pain overtook her body. She may have broken her arm. Neymar immediately rushed over to her and picked her up bridal style. Being careful so he doesnt hurt her arm.
At The Hospital
After taking Zen to the hospital. The doctors did X-Rays and the impact of the fall not only broke her arm but her thumb and index finger are both broken in 2 places. Guilt overtook Neymar as he's mother scolded him.
Nadine:What were you
thinking beating up a
17 year old boy?
Jason is 2 years older than Zen which is why Neymar was sceptical about their relationship from the start.
N:I was just trying to defend
Zen. He was disrespecting
her and she wasnt doing
anything about it...
Nadine:Instead she's in the
hospital with a broken
arm. What do you
think people are gonna
say about her now?
That she got her best
friends 19 year old
brother to beat up a
defenseless high
school student.
N:He wasnt defenseless.
Nadine:Your not getting the
point. He can press
charges against you
for assualt. But no you
didnt think of that
when you attacked him
infront of all his
friends.
You broke his nose.
You could go to jail for
this. Your not a little
boy anymore Juniour
you need to learn to be
more responsible and
think before you do
anything that could
affect your future.
N:I'm sorry mae
Nadine:Its not me you should
be apologising to. Its
Zen her arm and
fingers are broken
because of this. Luckily
she's left handed
otherwise she wouldnt
be able to write the
upcoming exams. Your
actions affected her the
most. I'm very
dissapointed in you.
Neymar looked down in shame as his mother went to Zen's parents. He never wants his parents to be dissapointed in him. The last thing he wanted was for Zen to get hurt. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned around only to see Rafa who gave him a sympathetic look.
R:Mae's just upset. You know
Zen is like a daughter to her...
N:She's right I was
irresponsible.
R:Yes you were and I am very
upset that my sister got hurt
but you were defending her
and I'm glad about that.
N:Do you think Jason will press
charges?
R:No
N:How can you be so sure?
R:We had a little talk. Actually
I talked and he listened.
N:Rafa what did you do?
Neymar knew she probably did something to Jason. She had a history of going over board when trying to help people.
R:Dont give me that look. I just
told him that if he pressed
charges against you. I would
make sure Zen pressed
charges against him. Since he
is the one that pushed her.
N:And he agreed that he
wouldnt press charges.
R:Yep
Nadine:Come on you 2 we're
going home. We'll
come back tommorow.
Neymar and Rafa said bye to Zen's parents and left with Nadine. They werent able to see Zen because the doctors were still busy with her.
When they got home. Nadine told Neymar Sr what had happened. He too was very dissapointed in Neymar but he didnt show it as he could see that Neymar was already ashamed.
