"Let's go," Lillian mumbled. "I have to get to work."

Lillian and Harry walked into Apple's costumer service center in New Jersey to be greated with a light chorus of absentminded hello's from Lillian's co-workers. Lillian mumbled a small 'hello' back, meant for everyone.

As she walked by, people began to look up and take in the tall, now dark figure walking past with Lillian. A common thought flashed through everyones mind, 'did Lilly get a new boyfriend?'

The answer was no, but you'll get to meet her boyfriend later.

For now, Lillian started working, not so diligently, on her job.

"Can I try?" Harry asked, tugging on Lillian's arm.

Lillian looked over, confronted with Harry's pleading eyes, finally handing him the phone.

"Hello, this is Harry," Harry said, imitating Lillian's words to greet the costumers.

Staring at the way Harry's lips moved when he spoke, Lillian distracted herself from her job.

The day moved along slowly, Lillian couldn't wait to leave; although she was worried about what would happen to Harry.

Contemplating whether or not she wanted to let Harry stay another night, Lillian almost didn't notice the arrival of her boyfriend, Ray.

"Hurry up, I'm not dealing with this waiting around shit today," Ray said to Lillian.

Lillian looked up at Ray and then back to Harry, weighing her choices. Should she bring Harry with her and Ray, or should she leave him and hope he fends for himself?

"Harry, c'mon! The day's work is done," Lillian finally said to Harry, avoiding looking at Ray.

"Who the hell is this?" Ray asked once Harry had walked over.

"Ray," Lillian said, "this is Harry. He needed a place to stay, and so I brought him home with me, it's nothing honestly,"

"Shut up! Lillian this is fucking outrageous, just get in the goddamn car!" Ray began to yell.

Ray grabbed Lillian's arm and yanked her towards the car, almost removing her shoulder from it's socket.

Harry noticed this and intervened.

"Hey, I don't quite think that's polite and a woman of this type of beauty shouldn't be treated that way," he said.

Ray let go of Lillian and began to step towards Harry, glaring.

"Who do you think you are? Trying to steal my girl, and then telling me what I can do with her?"

Harry stood where he was, only to regret it in seconds. Ray threw a punch and hit Harry straight in the mouth.

"No! Ray! Stop it! What do you think you're doing!" Lillian began to scream.

People stopped along the streets and stared, but no one had enough courage to stop the fight.

Harry just stood bewildered. He'd never been in a fight before, nor had he been punched. Angels were about peace and love, not destruction and hatred.

Lillian began to tug at Ray's arm before he could throw in another punch.

"You don't really care about this low-life, do you?" Ray asked.

"You just met the guy, and you care more about him than me? You're a pathetic bitch," he said before pushing Lillian onto the concrete and jumping in his car.

"Call me when you get a heart, cunt! Until then you aren't welcome at my place or to use my car," Ray yelled as he drove away.

Harry walked over to Lillian, crouching down. He stretched his arm out and touched Lillian face where she fell. Lillian flinched away from Harry's touch.

"Sorry," she said. "He's a total d-bag. I know. But we're in love, I guess."

"I'm not sure you are," Harry said, sitting next to her.
