Darkness...silence. It was all that filled his ears. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he stared at the sight before him. A body. It hung there. Swinging back...and forth...back...and forth. It haunted him, it taunted him. Zane. He hung there. Swinging from his neck up top the ceiling. He wanted to reach out, he wanted to save the other...

"Travis!"

He couldn't move.

"Travis!? Hello?! Are you alright?!"

He couldn't speak...

SMACK!

Travis found himself sitting on a toilet [no not using it you pervs]. Aphmau, Katelyn, Garroth, Aaron and Laurance all stood in front of him. From the looks of it, Katelyn was the one who slapped him.

"Uh...Travis..." Garroth spoke up.

"W-what?" He stuttered...of all things. Travis. Stuttered.

"Thank irene...we have been trying to get you to come to your senses for 3 hours! Everybody got worried!" That was Aphmau, she made it sound like Travis had gotten stabbed in the middle of the party.

"What....what happened?"

"You collapsed in our living room, sputtering jibberish and crying your eyes out." Katelyn.

"Huh?" Travis brought a hand to his face, and he found his cheeks wet and stained from tears. Did he really have a moment in front of everybody? He felt panic rising in his chest, no one has seen him do that before. He normally stayed at home or in his room around the times he collapses, but he got so caught up in the party...the party...Zanes party... Travis felt his eyes widen and more tears well up when the thought of Zane came to his mind. All he could think about was that body...swinging back and forth from the rooftops. Standing up, Travis raced out of the bathroom, leaving everyone in a fit of surprise, shock, and fear all at once. All Travis wanted to do was go home and wallow in his pain for a couple of days, but fate is a bitch.

He ran straight into the person he wanted to see least. Zane.

Zane had apparently come to find Travis, he wanted to know why Travis did what he did...and maybe return his gift. However, as he looked up at his face, Zane was in an instant mother mode for some reason. He didn't know why, but Zane felt the need to just wrap his arms around the other and comfort him the best he could.

"T...Travis?"

"Oh, irene why did I have to run into you" ouch. That hit him like a ton of bricks. However, the pain didn't stop Zane from getting Travis to halt in his tracks.

"Travis. Look at me." When the other male refused to look at him, Zane took his face in his hands and turned it to look straight at him. "Tell me what's wrong" his voice was commanding, filled with a worried tone. It broke him. Travis collapsed to the floor, his arms clinging to the smaller male. Small pets to the snow white hair with one hand, and with his other hand he was rubbing circles soothingly into the Travis's back. They were nealed against the floor, leaving quite a sight for the former members of the 'bathroom club' to find. Everyone could only watch as Zane reduced Travis to nothing more than a sobbing mess.

"Travis.." Zane was whispering to Travis. "Stand up...ill take you to your place...but I'm going to be staying with you tonight alright?"

"You don't-"

"I want to....Come on, stand up." Zane rose to his feet, pulling the other with him. Zane would ask about what happened later.

It didn't take long for Zane to console Travis to his home. Once inside the white haired man's home, they had automatically settled on the couch, back to the position they were in before.

"Care to tell me what's wrong, Travis?" His grip got tighter on Zane. Sore spot probably. "It's alright...you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I can wait." It went on for hours, until Travis's sobs turned into nothing more than an occasional whimper and a sniffle, then snores as the older male fell asleep. Zane couldn't exactly leave, Travis clung to him like a child with his teddy bear. Not that Zane was going to leave anyway. He was actually about to doze off himself when a loud knocking came to the door. He managed to tear himself away from the oversized child and answer it, finding Aphmau and Aaron.

"Zane? well, actually this isn't a surprise considering-"

"Get on with it Aphmau" Aaron cut her off.

"Sorry, look we just want to know if Travis is alright...he put on quite a scene back there and..."

"He's fine" Zane crossed his arms. "He just fell asleep maybe an hour ago..."

"That's...good to hear..."

"Do you know what happened?" Aaron asked.

"He won't tell me....something tells me its a very sore subject..." Zane turned to look back inside the house when a small whiney noise came from the couch.

"Oh...well...if there is anything we can do to hel-"

"Can you get it for me"

"Huh?"

"Can you get it for me"

"Get what?"

"The rose...I left a rose on your kitchen counter when I heard the commotion in the restroom...I forgot that I left it there..."

"You got a rose?" Whoops. Zane felt the heat rising to his cheeks.

"Y-yes" Great Zane, your stuttering. "I...it was a late birthday gift from Travis..."

"Alright...I'll bring it over as soon as possible" Thank goodness she didn't push it any further, but judging by the smile on her face, Zane was in for something tomorrow. After a few more words, the couple left Zane alone, or rather, him alone in Travis's house...with Travis. Zane shook the thoughts from his mind as he made his way back to the couch, settling down back into his position he found the sleeping male to automatically cling and cuddle him. After that...it wasn't long until Zane himself slipped into dreamland.
