Chapter 10

Is wasn't long after that night that they had ended up together. Surprising some of their friends...and others weren't so surprised. Zane and Travis had a rough start to their relationship, what started out as a simple crush on each other [more like burning passion on Travis's side] had actually blossomed into a working relationship. Over the course of almost a year, Travis had learned a lot about Zane and vise-versa. Like, Travis figured out that Zane avoids him and gets a bit more silent than normal [even for him] when he is upset about something and Zane learned that Travis has a tendency to sit outside near the rosebushes when he feels the need to cry or vent alone. One thing that always took Travis's breath away, though...was the smaller males eyes. When Zane trusted Travis enough, he ended up spilling his entire story and showed him the fabled eye. According to his story, Zane was blind in his right eye, however, what drew Travis in was the color. He was Hetero-chromatic...basically a fancy word for different colored eyes. One eye was its normal icy blue color the other...was a pale green. [dont kill me for mah headcanons].

Travis lay on the couch, his mind wondering over thoughts of how their relationship had grown over the course of the year. Reason he's on the couch you ask? Well, about 2-3 months ago Zane moved in with Travis, let's just say little ol' Zane is very upset at Travis for getting a little too touchy in public, but the thought didn't leave Travis's mind. For some reason Zane was getting a lot more...picky over things, if that was the right word for it. His emotions were everywhere and it kinda scared the white haired loverboy that something might be wrong with his Zuzu. Zane was currently upstairs, probably asleep by now, and the only thing making a noise was the faint 'buzz' noise from the lights on the half-set-up Christmas tree. Yup, it was almost Christmas time, infact it was nearing the end of christmas eve and the couple had agreed they wouldn't do anything too big other than the tree, seeing as Aphmau normally held a Christmas party or dinner or something to celebrate. He took in a deep breath as he stared at the ceiling, smiling at memories. Travis could recall about a month ago when Lucinda 'accidentally' tripped with a potion. It ended up with Zane as a female for about a week and when Aphmau ended up drunk at a sleep-over...lets just say nobody got to sleep that night and Aaron probably didn't leave for another two. While pondering over wonderful memories to put the idiot to sleep, it...actually worked. Eventually his eyes grew heavy and the male fell into a very deep sleep.
