The Pack

Chapter 5

Finn skunked around the forest trying to clear her worried washed state of mind. Hopefully Lightning will be okay soon, if he dies Neon could blow a fuse and release his anger on everyone. What about Astra!? All she wants to do is to protect her friends, she doesn't have a drop of evil in her soul. Then there's Misha, if Neon catches him visiting Astra he'll probably murder them both! Ugh why am I worrying so much?

She shook her black and white head snapping back to reality. She looked at the muddy green forest ground, the sun shining and hitting her slick black fur. The border collie licked her black chest before lifting her head seeing a bright blue wolf running towards her.

"Hello!" she heard a familiar, energetic voice. There she was standing the slim neon blue and pink she-wolf. 

   "Hello Astra" she said smiling, before worry came over her.

"What are you doing so close the pack's camp?"

"Just seeing what y'all were up to."

"But if Neon finds you."

"I'm part shadow wolf I, can turn into a squirrel or something and run away."

   Finn sigh knowing there was no use in arguing. A grey wolf bounded up the hill his one black ear tingly with excitement. 

    "Hello you two" Finn turned to face him Misha he was the smaller of the two twins but the more outgoing and accepting one

   "Hello Misha" Astra said as the he-wolf walk over to her touching noses with her catching her off guard. She stumbled back, to Finn.

   "We better get Astra back to her den or all three of us are going to be in trouble." Misha spoke after a slight moment of silence. The two she-wolves nodded.

Astra bounced in front with Misha, Finn beginning left behind on the side

   This is oddly familiar. Whenever Astra is around or brought up Misha focuses oddly on her. Like when he found us in her den doing battle he forgot I existed. She shook her head listening to the two others conversation.

"I'm just glad your okay." Astra whisper to him

"Same for you too."

"Anyways you don't need to run to my den each time there's a battle I can protect myself." 

"Yea I know, but your my friend and I get worried." Finn giggled amused at their small talk

Astra slid into her den, Misha stepping out of the way for Finn to follow her.

He sat outside as in case of an attack. Astra look between a rock in her den. "I would offer you a bite to eat, but there is nothing"

"No no its okay!" Finn sat against the wall Astra sigh looking at her bright lily pink paws.

"You sure I won't be able to join?"

"Probably not." Finn said sadly resting her paw on her friend's.

Astra sigh looking outside

    "I just wanna protect you guys, is that to much? Just to keep my friends safe!? I never did anything to harm anyone! Just because I'm half shadow wolf, doesn't mean I'm half evil!"

Misha skidded in sitting next to Astra 

    "We know that and anyone that lays eyes on you should know too." Finn nodded licking her ear in comfort, before a ruffle of scent similar to Astra but more dark came over her.

"Everyone stay where you are" a dark looming voice wolfed as the three friends frozed
