What the actual fuck was that???? Ally thought as the ran to the bathroom. She splashed cold water on her face, trying ease her red hot cheeks that had felt like hot coal for the past ten minutes

Ten minutes. More like ten years.

Looking at herself in the mirror, she fixed her disheveled hair and applied a small amount of makeup that she had with her. If you're gonna be late to class, you should at least bring makeup or food to help pick yourself up from the busy morning.

After finishing her job, she gave herself one final glace over before heading off to class. Being pleased with her look, she put away all of her makeup supplies and rushed off to class.

There were some things Ally hated in general about high school; the large amount of drama, the constant mustiness and occasional catcalls were a few examples.

But the one thing Ally hated the most was being late to a class.

Not only were you possibly interrupting a lecture, but you cause the entire class to look at you for an extended period of time, along with a snarky remark from your teacher if your lucky. It was something that make her already present anxiety peak.

Standing outside of Mr. Cowell's AP US History class, she took a deep breath, note and textbook clutched tightly in her hand, and quickly opened the door. Attempting to ignore all of the judging eyes, the short Latina quickly marched to her teacher's desk, handed him the note, and rushed to her desk, all of this done in less that ten seconds.

"What was that about?", the girl next to her had asked.

"I really don't wanna talk about it now, Mani", Ally muttered, still feeling the affects of her previous "encounter" with her language teacher.

Ally had first met Normani her freshman year. Any person with eyes would be able to see how gorgeous the 17 year old was. With her long black box braids that went to the middle of her back, dark brown skin, an insanely large and pure heart, an amazing fashion sense, a helpful and naturally funny personality, and a not so pure body, it would be hard for anyone to not like her. Ally would be lying to herself if she didn't like the girl when they first met. She was practically a babbling mess when they had their first conversation over a biology project. Normani had to admit, the short girl was and her babbling was beyond adorable.

Throughout the project, (and after Ally's awkwardness left her), the girl's loved how fast they clicked, immediately finding that the both loved singing and baking (baking as in Ally making the sweet treats and Normani eating whatever she made). They both caught feelings and eventually ended up as a couple. But after a few months, the two girls felt the were better as best friends. Them being friends, however, did not stop the two from being extremely affectionate.

"Ally, you know you can tell me anything right? Now tell me or else" the younger girl said jokingly, showing the older her fist.

"Mani please, you're literally the softest person ever. You're softer than me, and that's saying something."

After a couple seconds of a blank face , she replied "Who do you think you talking to?"

"You. Normani Kordei Hamilton; the same girl that I had to comfort in broad daylight when she was crying over some random old couple."

"But they were so adorable though!" Normani said, her pout visible in her voice as she started to tear up a little bit.

"Oh my gosh are you crying?" Ally laughed, failing at hiding her giggles.

"I'm not!" Normani yelled, startling Mr, Cowell, making him jump and drop his expo marker, and causing the entire class to look over to her in curiosity.
