(Azura's POV)

I didnt know who screamed like that but it filled me with such fear that I could hardly breath. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me and was surprised that I wasnt actually flying. I felt Cameron brush against the barriers of my mind but I couldnt let him in, he would distract me. I heard him calling but didnt stop to answer.

I noticed that the scream was coming from the direction of the lake. I paid no notice to the looks that followed me as I made my way there no the fact that there were others following me. Lani was oddly quiet as she waited to see what happened next.

The closer I got I heard laughter and arguing.What met my eyes was a bit unexpected. I saw Shane's girlfriend sputtering as she swam to the bank, soaking wet. Shane and Hunter were growling at each other and ready to come to blows. The laughter slowly died as they realized that the two were actually pissed at each other. It took a second to for me to make up my mind to intervene.

My own fear was forgotten as it was replaced by disbelief of the two of them getting ready to fight. I spared a glance at the girl and saw the look of smug triumph o n her face that soon disappeared when she saw me looking at her. It was soon replaced with such a wounded look of fake innocence that pissed me off to no end.Just what was this chick playing at.

When I heard Hunter and Shane passing blows and it angered me even more. They were family and they were fighting over some chick. But most importantly they were fighting at my damn party! My fear was gone and and replaced by unadulturated anger. I can honestluy say that I have never been this angry ever in my life before. Lani and I were both upset. Pulling on strength that i didnt know I had, I charged my brothers and pushed them both into the lake with a snarl.

"There will be no fueding in my house!" I snarled at them as they surfaced and glared at me though their words died on their tingue when they saw how pissed off I was. I turned to the chick that started all this shit and growled dangerously. "Idont know what the fuck you are playing at but this is my family you are toying with and I protect my family. So unless you want me on your as like white on rice you had better squash the petty shit."I said taking a menacing step towards her.

There were warning calls for me to calm down. I snarled at them and the entire yard felt my anger and my alpha powers. It felt as if my powers were amplified but I didnt care. This girl was starting trouble in my family and I didnt like nor appreciate it. The girl shrank back from me and almost fell back into the water. Ii ignored the stunned looks and kept my attention focused on the girl the entire time. The need to attack her was very strong and it was only the scent of her fear that kept me off of her ass.

With a nasty snarl I turned to everyopne else. "This is my home and you are all guests in my territory.I will say this one more time. There will be NO fighting in my home." I snarled and put emphasis on the word no. I growled as I looked at them all; Shane , his girlfriend,Hunter,even including Cameron and my dad.Each word I spoke was coated in raw power that had even my parents flinching.

Cameron eased his way to me and gently touched my arm the look of stark concern was displayd on his face brought me up short. When my eyes met his my giuard dropped and he was there in my mind.

"Azura calm down. It was probably a joke gone bad." He said along our shared link trying to soothe me. I growled at him before showing him what I saw. "I seriously doubt it. That bitch is up to something and I dont like it." Cameron spared a glance at the girl and then turned back to me but my guard was back in place.
