Its a bright sunny evening at DWMA and all the students are getting out of class. DWMA is short for Death Weapon Meister Academy a school where young meisters train with their weapon to become the ultimate pair which includes them to live together. Some of these pairs include: Maka (female) & her weapon Soul (male), Black Star (male) & his weapon Tsubaki (female) and Death the KId (male) & his two weapons Liz & Patty Thompson (female). Although most meisters have one weapon Kid is an exception because his father Lord Death is the head of the school and Kid is obsessed with symmetry so he has one weapon for each hand. A meister's weapon can take form to look like a human but can transform into a weapon at anytime and each one has their own trademark of what they choose to turn into like how the Thompson sisters turn into a pair of guns. A meister is a person that can see a persons soul and work with their weapon to collect kishin eggs to protect humans and to turn their weapon into the ultimate death weapon. Kishin eggs are the souls of humans or meisters that have turned evil and consume human souls which is against the moral of meisters and weapons. Meisters and weapons have to collect 99 kishin eggs and 1 witch soul to have their weapon become the ultimate death weapon.
CHAPTER 1: Maka's POV
"Maka, Maka wake up," Soul said patting my back. I didn't even know what was going on the last thing I remembered was Dr. Stein teaching us about disecting a frog, "What happened?" "you fell asleep in class and school is over our friends are waiting outside for us." "Why didnt you wake me up i probably missed something important!" "Its was the same as all the other disections. Come on everyone is waiting." "ok" i said as we gathered our things up and left the school to see Black Star standing on a lamp post yelling at padestrians. "...One day i will transcend god and be the biggest star there ever was if it is even possible for anyone to be bigger than me righ now because i am BLACK ST-" he had lost his balance and fallen off of the lamp post. "Black Star are you ok?" Tsubaki asked as she headed over to Black Star, "I'm fine nothing can beat Black Star." "So what should we do today we don't have any kishin eggs to go collect right now?" "why don't we have a party at our house?" "that sounds like fun, What about Kid and the Thompson sisters?" Tsubaki asked. "Why don't we invite them over?" "fine by me then i can show that puny wimp up." "If you can get to him" Soul said to Black Star. "Watch one day i'll beat him he isnt anywhere near as powerful and big as me." just as Black Star said that something shot him from behind. It was kid and the Thompson Sisters. "So what are the plans for today?" kid asked, "We're gonna have a party at my house wanna come?" I asked. "Sure." So we went and headed to my house. "So how many souls have you all collected?" Tsubaki asked us all. "We have 101, I have 51 she has 50" Liz answered. "Maka and i have...3..." we were both kinda ashamed to say it because we had collected all of the souls and messed up on getting a witch's soul and got a magical cat's soul instead. "How many do you two have?" I asked Tsubaki and Black Star, "...none.." she answered as we arrived at my house and went to the kitchen to get some food. "Hey do you guys have anything to make smoothies?" Kid asked Soul and I. "Yea let me get it out." i answered. i got out different fruits and Tsubaki helped me cut evrything up and we were about to put the cap on when, "Can i blend it up?" Black Star asked us. "Sure but dont make a mess" i answered but could i have been more wrong when i thought nothing could go wrong. yes. i had gone to the bathroom and came back to see the smoothie everywhere. Appearently Black Star had forgotten to put the lid on, "It couldnt handle the power of being operated by me, BLACK STAR!" I got some towels and everyone started cleaning up. I was walking across the floor to clean the counter but I slipped, but right before I fell Soul caught me, "Maka are you ok, are you hurt what happened?" he asked me. "I'm fine I just slipped." I answered blushing. "oh ok." Soul said as he blushed and helped me up. Appearently we had been standing there for a while because "Everything is cleaned up except for where you two are standing." Patty said to Soul and I, "oh I'll get it" I said and started blushing even more. "so what should we do since that turned out terribly?" Kid asked. "Why don't we go to the caondy store!" Patty said. "fine by me I just don't want to make another mess in here." because I would be the one cleaning it up this time. Everyone walked ahead but Tsubaki and I stayed behind talking. Hey is there something between you and Soul?" she asked me. "What no!" I answered because I really didn't know but I was sure we didn't. "Oh nevermind then." Tsubaki said. I think i made her feel bad. "WE'RE HERE!!" Patty screamed loudly. I guess she was really happy about it. We we're going through the isles and I didn't know what to get. "Sp Maka what should we get?" Soul asked me. "I don't know what do you think?" " How 'bout we share some licorice." "ok" I said, I didn't know what he meant because he never shares his food unless he fixes it but i guess I'll find out later. We both walked over and we're about to buy the licorice but we we're stopped because Liz and Kid we're chasing after Patty while her arms we're gull of candy. She ended up tripping over Soul's foot and spilt the candy everywhere. "Umm what happened?" "She tried to run away with all the candy." Kid answered. "What happened to Black Star and Tsubaki?" just the n they arrived and Black Star was holding 5 bags of candy. We all bought are candy and parted ways to head home. "Maka do you wanna watch a movie when we get home." "We really shouldn't its a school night." "But tomorrows Friday so it doesn't matter." "Fine." I said because I knew I wouldn't win this.
