Leana couldn't help but blush at the sight of him, and turned red even more at the realization that everyone standing there had just noticed what happened.

"...And this is my son, Liam Hartwood," The woman introduced him and before Leana could take it in, he extended his hand to shake hers.

"Nice to meet you," He said, in a near whisper, and Leana could literally fill herself melting, and it had nothing to do with the fact that it was ninety five degrees outside.

"Hi," Leana responded, stupidly, not taking her eyes off of his. They were a dark, dark brown, almost black. He had dark brown eyes that seemed to be permanently turned inward, giving him this serious sort of look. There was also these strong cheek bones that Leana couldn't help but to admire and

"...And this is my daughter, Leana," Shann's voice broke Leana's gaze, and now, Leana felt even more embarassed.

In a matter of moments, the boxes were being stacked onto a dolly and Leana did everything she could to keep from making eye contact with Liam again. But it was just too difficult. She had never seen anyone that looked remotely like him in their small, Texas town.

Her mind filled with questions: where was he from? What grade was he in? Was he going to her high school? Did he had a girlfriend?

The moment ended all too quickly, as Jim finally decided to show and lend a helping hand. Leana backed away, as Jim and Liam began moving the boxes one by one in the house.

It was too good to be true.
