Harry poured out the coffee for him and his husband Draco. They were now twenty five years old, and Draco was nervous beyond belief.

"Thank you, Harry." Draco said and took a sip from his cup.

"Draco, it's okay. I'm sure you'll get the job." Harry reassured Draco.

"Easy for you to say. You didn't have to go through years of waiting to work in a wood workshop in Diagon alley. " Draco said in a huff.

"I had to learn how to craft a masterpiece, but fine. The owl should be here soon anyway and you can find out if you you have the job or not." Harry said leaning over the table to kiss his husband.

"Are you okay other than that?" Harry said, clearly concerned. Draco Had been diagnosed with schizophrenia some years earlier, but they kept it controlled by the medication Draco was given.

"I'm okay, Harry." Draco said smiling. "Can you kiss me again?" Draco asked.

Harry responded by leaning over the small table again and planting a kiss on his lips. He was going to take it a step further but there was a tapping on the window.

"It's the mail. I'll go get it." Harry said, breaking the kiss. Harry walked over to the window, and there it was, Draco's letter telling him whether or not he had the job.

"Draco, my love, it's your letter." Harry called, since he heard Draco run from the room and up the stairs.

"No. I don't want to know. I know I failed. I'm just not good enough." He heard Draco crying from upstairs. Harry, with the letter still in his hand, went upstairs, ignoring the annoyed owl behind him, who was clearly hungry. The owl flew off, most likely to find food elsewhere.

Harry walked into their bedroom, where he saw Draco curled up in the wardrobe (closet for you Americans :P) . He was crying, his nerves too much for him to handle.

"Dray, come here." He whispered. Draco shook his head.

"Come on, Draco. It's okay." Harry said putting out his hand.

"I don't deserve you." Draco said in a voice so quiet Harry could only just hear him.

"Draco, come on. Have you taken your medication yet today?" Harry asked him.

"Yes." Draco lied.

"You're a bad liar." Harry said.

"Now you're angry at me! I shouldn't have lied! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Draco said. He sat up in the wardrobe and started breathing heavily.

"Draco, calm down my love. I'm not angry at you. It's okay... I love you." Draco began to calm down and once he had, Harry led him downstairs again and got him a glass of water and his medication.

"Okay, take this. Would you like me to read the letter to you?" Harry said taking one of Draco's hands.

"I don't know... I'm scared. I'm a failure. If it weren't for you i'd be..." Harry squeezed his hand to reassure him.

Harry opened the envelope and began to read it out loud.

"Dear Mr. Draco Malfoy. We are most pleased to inform you that you have passed your exam to become a medi-wizard at saint Mungo's. We would like to offer you a placement here at her hospital. If yes, please write to us saying you would like a meeting with me.

Yours Faithfully, Allena Russell." Harry read. Draco had stood up and looked relieved.

"Thank Merlin." Draco said.

"I told you there was nothing to worry about." Harry smiled at him, then kissed him.  How about this letter, then I have a surprise for you."

"A surprise? For me?" Draco said, shocked.

"Yes, Dray. For you." Harry kissed draco again and walked into the living room. He handed Draco a quill, ink pot and some parchment. "

"If you need help, call for me, okay?" Draco snorted slightly.

"I'm not a child anymore. I'm twenty five." Draco said to him

"Okay, I was just saying. Remember, I have work tomorrow. You can come if you like." Harry said, kissing him. "I'm glad you got the job."
