That night was a 'life changing night' for both Riya and Reyansh.
For the world, he was a bad brat of his father and a Criminal and she was just a simple girl practising dentistry.
Riya was only 22. She completed her university just a few months ago. She had plans for studying more in abroad but for some issues she had kept her dream aside.

That day was a busy day for Riya, she was in her clinic since 9 In the morning and it was already 11:30 pm. She checked her watch again and again. She had to go home as soon as she can. Her parents were out of town and she was all alone.
It's not safe for a girl to be out late night!
Her mother's voice echoed In her mind again and again. She sighed packing all her things instructing her nurse to close the clinic.

She stormed out of her clinic in frustration. She was hungry as hell! She didn't have her dinner yet and she had to skip her lunch too.
She threw all her things In the back seat of her car , closed the door and waited outside. She needed food and all shops around were closed. Then she remembered about some snacks which still was left in her clinic. She crossed the road and ran towards the clinic.
She went in and searched for food then she saw some biscuits in a box. She picked those and forced them all in her tiny mouth!
She came out locking the door.

At the same time she heard few noises which distracted her from the sounds of her stomach!

"Catch him! Catch him"

No sooner did she hear the voice, she saw a man running for his life.
She walked slowly to cross the road, digesting everything that was happening around her.

That man bumped into her which made him fall and at the same time there was a small eye contact between them. He forgot all About the cops following him and she forgot about her hunger and frustration.

'Catch him!'

The voiced echoed again. Both came out of their trance and the man got up running towards a car. He hid behind it.

Riya was still standing there looking at the ground. She felt something different.

Was that kind of a spark?

She thought. Before she could comprehend what was it. Few police officers came near her.

"Ma'am, did you see a man running down here?"

The man who was hiding behind the car almost had his heart on his hand. He was tired. He was in pain. He left arm was bleeding. He thought now his life would end.

Riya stood there silent thinking what to answer.
Did she see anyone?
Yes she Did.
Where was he?
Hiding behind the car.

"No! No one came here running. May be you came in a wrong way!" She answered.

"Thank you so much ma'am" the cop said and went running towards the other direction instructing the other cops with him.

She stood there In silence. Why did she lie? Why didn't she say the truth?
She wished she knew.

The man was still behind the car. Crying silently in agony.

"You can come out, the cops have gone!" She said coming towards him.
