After an argument the couple had, they decided to comfort each other. They were laying down together. Holly was on top with tears drying against her flustered cheeks. It was yet again just silence between them. Their love was still the same, but they felt like they betrayed one another.

Holly's eyes were filled with troubling thoughts and recovery of the emotional stress. "Will you ever hurt me like that again," she asked while clinching a hand full of Adams shirt.

"I hope not, but probably," he said knowing it'll happen again.

"Will I ever hurt you again," she said with regret.

"Probably, but it's nothing I won't forgive," he said knowing that the love he felt was as great as hers.

They were yet again silent with their embrace. Adam had his hands on her back to secure the hold and Holly was holding herself snuggly against him. "Do you still love me," she asked.

Adam could feel her heart beat speed up against him. The heavy pulse troubled him. He knew that she was worrying for no reason and he felt terrible. "Yes, Holly. I still love you. Please try not to worry."

"Do you still love me the same as you always have?"

"I love you the same as I've loved you from the beginning. You've done nothing to change that."

"I want you to know that I love you the same as I ever have and what I said a little bit ago wasn't true. I was just upset and made a mistake."

"It's ok....I didn't mean what I said either," he said feeling her heart slow down.

"Does this hurt our relationship at all," Holly said wiping her last tears against Adam.

"Not for me," Adam said simply.

"Not for me either," she said pulling up to his face and sharing a kiss.

The two stayed there till they drifted off. Although they just had an argument, they were as comfortable as possible in each other's arms. The trust between them wasn't harmed and their affection the same.
