"Okay guys! We're leaving! Cya!" I told the guys from downstairs. "Bye guys!" I heard Ryan yell from upstairs. "Have fun you kids." Mark said. Matt and I shared a laugh as we walked out the door.

We arrived at the festival. Matt parked the car and stared at me. I blushed and smiled. "Yes, Matt?" I asked with a smirk. "Nothing it's just...Iris you look so damn beautiful." He said. My face was a bright pink. "Matt. You're looking quite handsome yourself this fine afternoon." I said in a terrible British accent. Matt giggled. He kissed my forehead. "Cmon. We should get going." Matt said. We exited the car and walked down the pathway. We got our hands stamped and we walked in. There were tents everywhere, it smelled of all sorts of delicious food, and amazing music going trough everyone's ears. The hot air balloons gave off a chill vibe around the place. Matt wrapped his arm around my waist and began walking.
This was going to be a good day.

{9:30pm}
"Okay. We've been to every mini-concert, eaten practically every piece of fried dough in the festival, what else?" Matt asked. I looked around. There was a neon cotton candy stand. I gasped and put my hands on my cheeks. "Matt. Look." I said pointing to the stand. Matt looked over at the stand. "I'm not complaining." He said. I giggled as we headed over to the stand.
The line wasn't long. Only a few more people than us.
"Hello you love birds!" The girl said. She looked about 16. Quite the scene kid. "What color do you guys want?" she asked. "Blue." I said. "Red." Matt said. "Mkay! That'll be 70 cents!" Matt have her the change and smiled. "Madison! Red and Blue!" He said from behind. The girl nodded and began making the cotton candy. "Aren't you guys from YouTube?" The girl asked. "Yes we are." I smiled. "Oh sweet! Kids w/ Problems, right?!" The girl asked excitedly. "Yup." Matt said. "Oh my goodness! If you don't mind, can I get a quick picture?" She asked. "Absolutely!" Matt said. We took a selfie together and our cotton candy came. "Thanks so much for buying, guys! Have a nice night!" She smiled. "Bye!" We said.
"She's nice." I said. "It's nice meeting fans." Matt said. "You get a humble feeling from it."
We walked around for a few minutes. Matt broke the silence by asking "How do they make it such a vibrant Red! It literally glows in the dark!" Matt said. I giggled. "Did you not read the sign?" I asked. He looked at the sign, then face palmed and whispered "idiot"
In extremely bright, rainbow flashing lights read "GLOW IN THE DARK COTTON CANDY!!!" The sky was pitch black and it was one of the only things illuminating the area.
I laughed. "How can you not see that?!" I asked, still laughing. "Hey, I'm blind." Matt said. We both laughed.
"Hey look, Ferris wheel." Matt pointed out. "Cliche Matt. Of course we had to buy the cotton candy." I said. "You wanted it." He giggled. "Want to go on it?" Matt asked. I nodded excitedly.
We stood in line for a while. Eventually, it was out turn.
"Don't rock the cart when you get up top. Otherwise, you're safe! Have a nice night!" The man said as he guided us into the cart.
The Ferris wheel stared up. My feet swung back and forth.
We reached the top. We could see all of Los Angeles. "It's so beautiful." I said. "Isn't it?" Matt replied. I looked at Matt. His eyes glowed the same way they did when I first met him.
Under the Los Angeles stars. Practically glowing in the dark.
The Ferris wheel made its way back down to the ground. We exited the cart.
"I think that's a good place to end the day." Matt said. I nodded. I looked at the time on my phone. 1:59am.
Matt put his arm around my shoulders. "Cmon lil lady." Matt said. We walked back to the car and headed home.
