Author's notes:
Warning: I curse like a sailor so expect some foul language. Some things I write about may trigger depression (half of them are derived from it anyway) so please be careful coming into this story. There will be blood and death and maybe even sexy times so yeah...

In the beginning there was light, dark, and water. From the light, a race of superior beings arose. All of them were pure and good, so they were granted wings, with which to watch over others. From the dark, came another race of powerful beings, demons. Demons had nothing but darkness residing in them. They stole power from the great force that brought them into being, whatever that was. The last race, was humans. Forever ignorant of the other two races, forever weak. But the Angels protected them nonetheless. And even when the humans ravaged the Earth, even when they warred and killed and destroyed, the Angels stood forever their vigilant protectors from the dark.
"I've had enough!" spoke a voice from one side of the table, slamming their hands down on the mahogany table that took up most of the space in the shining, white room. The voice was hard and angry, and it came from a young woman. Her Maroon hair fell out of it's confines as she glared, framing her cruel face.

"We have served those useless humans for hundreds of years!""Enough, Zakiya

"We have served those useless humans for hundreds of years!"
"Enough, Zakiya. Your anger is taking over again," said another, softer voice. This one belonged to another woman, with soft white hair that fell around her shoulders and matched the milky white wings that protruded from between her shoulder blades. Her yellow eyes glared at the woman next to her, and her armour gleamed in the bright light of the war room.

Zakiya glared back at the woman who had spoken.
"Shut up, Trind. You know just as well as I do that the humans are worthless creatures. They only care for destruction yet we put our lives on the line for them! My father died for them, you yourself almost died, Trind," she said, her voice softening a little.
Trind sighed, "that does not matter. We were created for the purpose of standing as protectors for the humans. To eradicate them would be to disregard our very reason for existing. We are not animals, Zakiya, there are ways other than bloodshed to make them see the consequences of their actions."
Zakiya didn't say anything, and sat back down, ruffling her wings.
This time, it was a blonde angel that broke the silence. Strands of hair dangled in front of her face as she uncrossed her hands and sat forward.
