Destiny’s POV
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! My alarm clock went. Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!
“Shut up!!!” I yelled at the alarm. Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! “Ugh!” I grunted. Still half asleep, I finally got up and shut it off. Then I looked at the time. 8:15! “Crap! I’m gonna be late for work again!” I exclaimed. I quickly got off my bed and changed into my plaid blue, button-up shirt, skinny jeans, and finally my Hi-Top Blue Converse. Then I ran as fast as I could to my light blue VW EOS. When I settled into the car and started the engine, I looked at the clock on the dashboard. 8:25. I sighed out of relief. I wasn’t going to be late after all!
After my 3 minute car ride, I arrived to the Café. I turned in the second driveway into the back parking lot. I immediately ran to the back door, punched in, then put my stuff in the back room.
I was greeted by Greyson as soon as I walked into the front room.
“Hey Destiny!” Greyson happily greeted me.
“Hi Greyson.” I said with a smile directed towards him.
Greyson’s POV
“Hi Greyson.” Destiny said while smiling. She came over by me and started taking customer’s orders. After she was done taking his order, and giving him his coffee and biscuit, she started talking to me. “I thought I was going to be late today. I swear Andrew would’ve killed me if I was late again! Not literally, but you know what I mean.” Destiny started babbling.
“Hello?? Earth to Greyson??”
“Do you want to go out with me?” The words came out of my mouth before I could stop them. She stood there for a minute staring, shocked, paralyzed; you could say.
“Sure, why not?” She answered the question that had been killing me for 3 years. I let out the breath I didn’t know I’d been holding. I, Greyson Armstrong, was now going out with Destiny Hart!
Destiny’s POV

I typed back sure and started getting ready. I was just deciding on whether wearing something pretty fancy or just casual when my phone buzzed.
