Josh and I get into the car and I sigh. We left early because a waitress kept hitting on us. I look over at him.
"Let's just go pick up something at the grocery store." I say. He then pulls out of the parking lot and drives to Kroger. I avoid conversations with him most of the ride.
"What the hell?" He says. I look over at him and see him staring at me. I give him a questioing look. "You're not talking." I shrug. "Are you still hung up on Tyler? I told you, we'll find him. But didn't you guys only know each other for like a day? I know you like him and all but it was basicall a one-night stand. Do you know how many I've had?"
"Yes, and that makes me wonder why you don't have an STD by now. But, Josh, this guy is one of the coolest people I know. He's attractive, he's funny, he likes everything I like. Even if we're not in a relationship, I'd still want to be friends with him. You know?" He groans and gets out. I follow him and we walk into the store.
I walk into the apartment with grocery bags. I see Ashley sleeping on the couch and I slam the door with my foot. She quickly wakes up and looks at me.
"Hey," She says. "What'd you get?"
"Pizza rolls, ice cream, popcorn, chips." She stands up and helps put them away. "So exactly where is my roommate?" She opens a box of cheez-its and pops a few into her mouth.
"He went to pick up something, he should be here soon. So," she says as she falls back onto the couch. "About your boy toy." She smirks as she looks at me. "Josh told me." I roll my eyes.
"I don't feel like talking about it." She shrugs and I sit down next to her. I reach in the box and grab some cheez-its. Within ten minutes, Jack walks in. He plants a kiss on Ashley's lips and sits on the couch next to her.
"So about Tyler?" He says with a smirk. I sigh and get up. I don't pay attention to what either of them say as I walk out of the apartment
