Twenty Five

Sophia

It has been a month since Hyungwon and I were in a relationship during that prom night. Things were going greater than we expected and our bond was stronger. He would give me surprise gifts sometimes and would throw us both into a small date. He turned into a warmer person and he was actually very goofy and sweet.

The only problem is, I couldn't seem to tell my dad about us. My dad doesn't know Hyungwon's a vampire so how could I tell him about us now? I might shock my dad so Ill try to find time to tell him later. I just can't confront him now.

"How do you solve this?" Hyungwon suddenly asked me.

"Oh." I snapped out of my thoughts.

We were actually studying Math together right now in the school library because exams for the last quarter were coming near.
We study earlier since we're are packed with projects and extra longests and they might interfere with our study time for exams. We try to help the both of us to continue getting a good mark in school so we study together.

"Uhmm.. where..?" I cleared my throat and tried to focus.

"Sigh." he sighed at me.

"What were you thinking again?" he asked.

"Nothing." I answered.

"Stop spacing out." he said and I only gave a nod.

School was done so Hyungwon and I were walking our way to home.

"Ya." He called.

"Mm?" I asked.

"Let's go somewhere first." He tried to smile.

He dragged me to the playground and we sat down on the swings.
We both kept quiet not talking to each other at first.

"I brought you here because you seem to not be able to focus in school. And, I'm also quite stressed as well." He spoke.

"That's true...." I whined.

"Keurae. So lets just sit down here... enjoying the air... having each other's company..." He said.

We spent some more minutes in the playground before Hyungwon sent me home.
I went up to my room and immeadiately took a warm shower. School has been stressful because last quarter exams were nearing yet we still have more outputs to do.

I have also noticed Hyungwon worrying about that and I understand because he's having a hard time in subjects which are his weak points. Well, I'm always here for him.

I dried up, changed my clothes and immeadiately laid down on my bed. I had no appetite. I just want to rest. I later didn't realize, I had just fallen into a deep sleep...

Hyungwon

I have been spending more time with my groupmates for our group projects in several subjects for days already and Sophia is too.

I'm glad Sophia is an understanding girlfriend and somehow we put efforts to at least have time for each other. Most of all, we know school and exams is our priority right now so we had no problem on that.

My groupmates for music class went ahead to go home while I tried to stay for more minutes to practice our song and our small dance for the practical exam tomorrow.

I haven't got time to drink blood for this day since I spent my whole time studying for our quizzes today and doing outputs with my classmates. Now, though I am drowsy, I still try to finish practicing.

I was still practicing when Sophia went to where I was.

"Annyeong, oppa. What are you doing?" She greeted me.

"Uh. Just practicing for tomorrow's Music Exam." I answered.

"Awesome. You dont sweat! Vampires dont sweat?" She asked coming closer to me.

"Y-Yeah.." I tried to answer.

Mmm.. her scent.. it's getting to me..

"Are you done practicing?" She asked.

I wanted to quickly get out of this situation before I go crazy. I haven't drank yet so I'm really craving it now.

Her blood... It's smells so good.. I want it now.

My vision was blurring and I quickly fell into her shoulders as I rested my head. I hugged her tight.

"Mwoya? You miss me? Ya! Why are you hugging me all of a sudden?" I heard her laugh.

Slowly, my fangs were growing and Im getting crazy over my craving for her blood. I just wanted to bite her immeadiately.

There it is.. I just need to get a....

......"NO!"

I quickly pushed myself away from her. My eyes widened because of what I almost did. I looked at her, guilty.

"Oppa, what's wrong?" She asked confused.

"I-Im sorry." I said.

"Wae?" she asked again.

"Wae?! What's going on?" She asked again.

"Nothing. Let's go." I pulled her arm and quickly dragged her so we could go home.

We reached her house and she turned around to me before she went in. She looked like she wanted to say something but she kept it to herself instead.

"Well then...... annyeong." She said.

I watched her as she went in before I turned back. I rushed and sped up to go home.

I arrived and quickly went in slamming the door behind me. I looked over for some more animal blood that I have and quickly drank it while I was shaking and trembling. I drank as quick as I could, filling myself up as if there was no tomorrow.

I felt guilty because I almost hurted her. What I did there was so close. I should have just taken blood when it was break time. What if I really did suck the blood of Sophia earlier? I would never forgive myself.

I fell down on the floor and thought about it. Everything about her is just so addictive to me. This is fatal. I do love her and it's dangerous if I kill the one I love.

"He almost killed your mom....

.... Sophia's human and youre vampire...

...We could never be with humans....

.....But just be careful...."

I recalled some of the things Wonho pointed out to me about my mom and how it relates to me and Sophia.

It can't be.. I should never let it happen again.
