“WAKE UP ROSE!!!” screamed Ashley as he pounced on me.
“5 more minutes Ash. Please.” I said pushing him off me and pulling the covers over my head. “Oh no missy! It’s Thursday okay. We are going to go get the rest over your stuff and tell your mom okay? Now get up please!!!!” he said pulling the covers off me. Oh, yeah, the boys (mostly Ashley and Andy) decided that I’m going on tour with them, since I was almost eighteen. Since Isabelle’s birthday is in about two weeks she is coming to. It was her mom’s early birthday present to her. “Alright! I’m, up! Just get off me Ash!” I changed into a simple skinny jeans and an All Time Low t-shirt. “Hey we really need to get you a BVB t-shirt. Or at least a wrist band” Jake said as I came into the kitchen. He was making waffles. Yum! I love waffles! “Hey Hon! How goes it?” Sandra asked as I sat next to her at the table. Me and her have been really close since the whole bathroom thing. “Good until Ashley told me it was Thursday” I said taking a bite of a chocolate chip waffle Jake sat in front of me. “Ashley! Did you really have to wake her up with that bit of news!” she said smacking him in the back of the head. He winced. “Sorry babe! Geez Sandra that hurt!” he said facing her. “Morning everyone. Morning love” Andy said coming in the kitchen. He kissed me on the head. “Sleep well?” he asked everyone as he got some coffee. A chorus of fines flittered through the air. “Rose how bout you?” Andy asked. “Okay I guess. Not looking forward to later though.” I said truthfully. “It’s okay babe we’ll be there the whole time!” Jinxx said as he walked in rubbing his eye. “Thanks you guys.” I said as Jinxx pulled up next to me. “Morning bitches!” Isabelle said walking thought the door. “Morning!” we all screamed. She kissed Jake on the cheek and gave me a hug. As you guessed she and Jake are a thing now. Lucky them. Andy has been a little cool to me lately. Jinxx is the only one who shows interest now a days. I like him don’t get me wrong it’s just not in that way. “Well. Let’s get‘er done.” I said
We all arrived at my house at 2:30 sharp. I grabbed Isabelle’s and Sandra’s hand as Ashley rang the door bell. Grayson answered. I squeezed Sandra and Izzy’s hands. “Hello. May we speak to Ms. Shepard please?” asked Ashley using his business sounding voice. Grayson shot me a death glare and nodded. “Nessa!” he screamed. My mom quickly ran up to the door. “Oh Rose! Darling where have you been!” she said as she raced out and hugged me. I didn’t hug back. “Mom can we talk.” Was all I said to my mother. “Sure sweetheart, come in all of you. You’ll get a cold or something.” She said ushering us in. “This is Andy, Sandra, Ashley, Jinxx and Jake. Guys this is my mom” I said not even bothering to introduce Grayson. They already knew who he was. “Nice to meet you all now what did you want to talk about?” She said leading us into the parlor. “Uh. Could we talk in private” I asked, glancing toward Grayson. “Oh, um Grayson honey could you go get me some tea?” she asked. “Sure” he said smiling then it turned into a frown. “Mom. Quickly just listen. Grayson hits me okay. Last week it got really bad okay. I can’t live like this anymore! It’s either me or him” I said quickly as Sandra Gripped me arm. It was like two minutes before she starting laughing. LAUGHING!!! “Hahahaha! That’s so funny Sweetie now really what’s wrong/” she said “Mommy. Did you hear me I said Grayson hits me.” I said, my voice slowly quieting. “I heard you what you said. If you don’t’ like Grayson then you could of just said so. You didn’t have to make up lies like that.” She said standing up from the couch. “I’m not making this up Nessa! When have I ever lied to you!” I screamed standing up. I never called my mother by her real name before. It took her back a little. “You know what. Forget you. Forget him! Forget I was ever here you bitch! You are so wrapped around his finger that you can’t see that your own daughter is in pain. I hate you! You you whore!” I screamed. I ran for the door. “Rose!” I heard them call me, but I didn’t look back. I just ran.
I ran for about ten minute before I stopped. I had reached the cemetery. I walked over to a grave and sat down. I cried for I can’t remember for how long. I felt some sit next to me but I didn’t look up. “Come here.” Andy said pulling me toward his chest. I cried harder. “Shh it’s okay. Its okay love, its okay” he said stroking my back. We sat there for hours in silence among the dead. “Andy did you find her?” I heard Sandra yell. “Yeah I found here” Andy yelled. “Oh my god! Rose! Don’t you scare me like that ever again! “ Sandra said coming and giving me a hug.

“Oh. That’s me” Sandra said picking up her phone. “Hello? Yeah Ash, Andy found her. We are at the cemetery. See ya in a sec. Ashley is bringing the car around.” She said. ‘Oh Okay” Andy said for me. I didn’t want to talk to anyone. Not right now anyway. I can’t believe I just did that. Ashley came around with the car. Andy picked me up and put me in the back seat and slid in next to me. “Everyone is at home. You wanna go get some comfort food?” Ashley asked. I nodded. “Alright. Chinese?” Sandra asked. I nodded once more. We drove in silence to Mr. Wong’s Food Emporium.
After a plate of Kung POW chicken, a bowl of wonton soup and like three things of rice we were stuffed. “Well that beats Jakes cooking any day” Ashley said leaning back in his chair. “True that!” Andy said. I laughed. “Hey!! We got her smiling!!” Ashley said excited oh yeah. I’m going to like these guys.
