The Overlord stood atop his massive, black pyramid of a palace. His black hair tousled in the wind, and his long, black cloak flew off as he disconnected it from the rest of his suit. He held his hands clasped behind his back as he stood, and a single, black pillar grew into existence a mere mile away from his palace. He bent his knees, and jumped.
Mabel had seen such power demonstrated before, always by the same person; The Overlord. And, as always, it was from the screen her jewel provided. It played the local broadcast, when she needed. Dipper was soundly asleep on the table behind her, with Waddles running tests.
The Overlord landed easily on the pillar, as if he had simply slipped off a small ledge, a few feet above the pillar. Mabel raised an eyebrow as she watched. The viewpoint panned so it was positioned behind him. The Overlord unclasped his hands and held them to his sides. His right hand began to shake, and Mabel could see a distant building begin to vibrate. The Overlord clenched his hand into a fist, and the entire building shattered. The people inside fell to there deaths from above, and those below were crushed. Mabel held a hand to her mouth, and she felt tears begin to form in her eyes. The Overlord turned to face the camera...
"I have sensed the Pine Tree, rebels." He began. "Give him to me, and nobody else has to die. If not..." He raised a hand...
He had Wendy...
"You're precious Corduroy will be the first to die..." He snapped, and the screen Mabel's jewel provided turned to static...
And there came a knock at the door with a feminine voice following...
"Take Back the Falls!"
