AND I just have to say that I LOVE Tyler's Mom! She's the best ever! :)
Now on with the chapter! YAY! Haha

"Hunny, are you alright? Why don't you come on up, ok?" I heard my Mom call out from the top of the basement stairs. She normally wouldn't come down here unless she absolutely needed to. My mom understood this was my space, the whole basement was filled with all kinds of workout equipment, and when I was down here blasting my angry rock music, she defiantly knew to leave me be for awhile. I checked my watch to check the time. 7:33 PM.
Wow, I guess I've been down here longer than I thought I had. It had only been about 5:20 ish when Damon left. UGH! Just thinking about him pissed me off! I punched the heavy bag swinging back and forth in front of me, a few more times, making sure most of my anger was gone before I went upstairs to talk to my Momma.
This was normally our "family time" together, since she worked late shift at the hospital as a RN. She would always make dinner and we would talk about what was going on in our lives. Meaning I told her about all the stupid stuff Damon got us into and how I got us out of it. That and football. She couldn't always make my games, but I understood why, so I would keep her updated in everything that was going on during practices, games, and even my workouts. My Momma was a kind hearted, loving woman and the things she loved most had to do with her family, which was just me now. And Damon. He was a big part of my life and my Momma saw him as a second son, heck he was here most of the time anyways so I was surprise he didn't have his own room.
Sighing I unwrap my hands and grab and small gym towel to wipe my sweat off. Making sure I'm not dripping sweat, I run up the stairs to see my Momma sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of tea. She usual drinks tea before going into work, she said it calmed her, or something like that, heck if I knew I'm a teenage boy not a freaking girl.
"Hey Momma, what's for dinner? How was your day?" I asked while taking a bottled water out of the fridge to take a much needed drink. While gulping my delicious water my Momma decides that that would be the best time to blurt out a very horrifying sentence. "So are you gay now, or just gay for Damon?"
I spit out my water all over the counter, then proceeded to choke from water going my wind pipe. Holy crap! What...?! How...?! I finally managed to get my choking under control and was now coughing like a chain smoker. "Sweetie! I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to make you drown yourself! I was just curious that's all." My Momma rushed over to me and started rubbing my back trying to help make my coughing stop. "Here, take another small sip of water, that should help."
I did as I was told, and thankfully it helped. After, finally catching my breath, I looked over at my mom wearily. I can't believe my mom was being so...nonchalant about this. And how the heck did she even know what happened in the first place?! "Momma....I-I...I'm not really sure what to say?"
"The truth would do just fine by me, sweetie." She was as calm as could be, and I was completely freaking out on the inside.
"Uhh...I'm not really sure, but I think it just might be Damon. But I'm honestly not sure! Shoot Momma, I just started feelin' this way about him today and already he has my head all mixed up and my heart's already hurtin'..." Yep, I'm a HUGE Momma's boy, I warned you. I've cried on her shoulder too many times to count, and I'm NOT ashamed of it, she's the only one I can be real with, besides Damon and even then I hide some things from him, usually my cry-baby emotions. But hiding things from my mom just wasn't possible, she knew me so well.
