Ever since that day in Year 35X, everything was very different. The species, the region, just everything. Diseases killed off many loved ones and forest fires spread across everywhere and into towns. Knights and soldiers fought their hardest in the war zone but in the end, rarely any survived.
When things settled down, the species took time to prepare themselves a home with good resources in order to live. A magic cure was then made, trade systems along with new villages and towns were created as well.
The king of Yeviel was mysteriously killed in his throne room because of the rumor that was spread around. The species believed he planned the war for his own enjoyment, for that cause the demons to be furious and they then were seen as the most untrusted ones.
All thanks to the northeast kingdom, Yeviel, nobody was the same ever again.

Spring of Year 40X.
The clouds were clearing up, revealing the bright sun and beautiful blue sky. Currently in Ewurus Town of the southwest lands, the elves and fairies were constructing a rather large building to put all their storage supplies inside. The children were around the center square playing a game of tag together while the teens and adults did the work.
"Catch!" A fairy tossed a screw to an elf. It was caught and hammered into the wood of the unfinished storage room.
The elf's name is Alec Salvai. He has survived through the war that started 5 years ago along with his parents. He's now 19 and very healthy since he gotten vaccinated.
"Thanks Sheryl! I think this is the last one I'm hammering in for now." Alec steadied another iron nail onto the piece of wood and slammed the tool down on it. Sheryl covered her tiny ears from the loud noises that ranged throughout the area. Alec carefully climbed down the ladder as Sheryl flew on his messy brown hair.
Alec began running down the stoned path to his house. "Alec slow down!" Sheryl was barely holding on, almost falling off his hair when he sped up.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Alec placed his hand on Sheryl, holding her down so she won't fall off and continued running, "I got you now."
Sheryl sighed, "So reckless..." she mumbled to herself with a smile. The two has been friends back when they were children, since the two's fathers has been co-workers and friends back in the old village. Sheryl was always there to make sure he'd go with the right choices, because he'd probably be dead from the war.
The two got to Alec's house. It wasn't small nor very big, but it was a good size for him and his parents to live in.
Alec opened the door with his key and they soon smelled lunch coming from the kitchen. "I'm home!""Welcome home!"
"We're in the kitchen!" Alec's parents called out to him. They went into the kitchen, seeing his dad watching their box TV and his mom was making the good smelling lunch."Hey mom and dad." Alec sat down in the chair across from his father.
Sheryl flew off his head, "Hello Bryan and Rachael! May I join you all for lunch?" She stood on the table next to Alec, fixing her blonde hair from the rough ride.
"Of course you can, you're always invited to our house, you know that right?" Bryan said not turning away from the news channel that was being played on the small TV screen.
Rachael went to the table and sat four white plates down parallel from each other. She went back into the kitchen to get the tray with the lunch on it, to place in the center of the table. Once Rachael sat down, they've got silent and began their prayers.
"Thank you!" They all started eating the sandwiches and chatted away. Sheryl gotten help from Alec with her food, since she was too small to pick one out.
~~~~~
After lunch, Rachael washed the dishes and sat them on the rack to dry off. Now they're all in the living room, Sheryl and Rachael discussing Sheryl's parents, Bryan just finished watching TV and Alec is pretty quiet. Something has been on the boy's mind but he just can't explain it well.
"Hey dad. You remember what srarted the war during 35X?" Alec tried to sound innocent but his father knew he was up to something.
"Of course I do, who wouldn't?"
"Well, what would you do when it ends?"
Bryan thought about the question. There was so many dreams and goals waiting to be accomplished after the war ends, either it being long lasting or minor wishes. "Well Alec, there's various things to do after the war. Even during the war, we're all just afraid to do anything in this time right now because of the dangers of the world. I would love to rebuild and go back to working in my nice small business back in the old village, but some things you just have to be patient for." The boy's father sighed just thinking of that dream to be reality.
Alec smiled, remembering how his dad always had a bright smile when he came home from his job or his proud, determined face when he gets promoted to do more and surpass this co-workers. "Hey dad. I know this is a little crazy but listen, I too want the old days to return. I want mom to be happy again. I want to end this war." Alec slammed his fist on the table, getting the attention of Sheryl and Rachael.
There was a silence in the room. Bryan cleared his throat, he didn't want to laugh even though he knew his son was just yelling a child's fantasy dream. "Now that's just silly Alec. I think you're tired, why don't you go get some rest."
"I'm serious!" Alec couldn't believe it. His parents didn't take him seriously when he confessed at the perfect moment. Rachael's ears perked up farther than they already are. Her son was talking complete nonsense.
"You can't be serious Alec. Your magic abilities aren't strong enough to take down a war and you know that is true. I wish the war will end soon just as much as you do but that's not enough to end it." His mother tried to not sound rude but she couldn't help it. Her 19 year old son isn't a little child and need to face reality.
Sheryl didn't know what to say, his outburst did sound like a super hero in a kids show but it did have a strong feeling of determination in it as well.
"Listen, you may think I can't do it, but my dream is a real one. My combat magic isn't as powerful either, I know that. When I was little, the hero always win in the end, even if it took them longer than expected. I don't care about what anyone says, I don't care how long it takes, I just want it to end and I'll do anything for that to happen." Alec held his head in his hands and took a deep breath. Knowing how his parents are, he knew they won't let that happen.
There was a silence. Sheryl smiled and the parents were still not taking him seriously. "Alec, we're still going to say no. Final answer." Bryan moved to the seat next to his wife away from him and crossed his arms.
Alec took another deep breath and stood up, "I'm going outside." His voice had a empty tone in him as if everything in him shattered into tiny glass pieces.
He opened the door and left out, not caring to close the door. Sheryl flew to the door and looked back at both his parents, "Thanks for having me here." She said before closing the door and followed behind Alec."Wait for me!" Sheryl yelled catching up to the elf. "Alec cheer up! What you said was very inspirational and you know it!" She sat on his shoulder and tried to cheer him up.
"Yeah right. Your just saying anything to try and make me feel better. It won't work on me." Alec sighed and sat down on a nearby bench. Sheryl knew sugarcoating wouldn't work on him but she didn't try to fake happiness on him either.
The fairy stood on his leg and pointed her tiny finger at him, "Alec I'm serious! We all know that's a big fantasy but when I heard you, I wanted to help you out, I want to go with you when they say yes!" Sheryl yelled. Alec looked down at her a bit surprised. She tried to stay strong and not shed a tear for him, to show she was serious.
Alec smiled as he took her in his hand and just looked down on her. It was a short silence before she actually started crying out. "Thank you, Sheryl."
