Chapter: 1

Lizzy's POV

"Buzz... Buzz... Buzz"

"Uuuggghhh" I said slamming my hand down on my alarm. I hate Monday's for multiple reasons. After I get done telling myself how much I hate school I finally get up and run downstairs to the smell of bacon and eggs.

"Hey mom... Others." I say walking into a kitchen filled with 10 hungry werewolves. "Good morning honey." My mom says handing me a plate of food. I grab my plate of food and go sit by my best friend Adam. "Hey bitch" he says while wolfing down his food, see what I did there... get it "wolfing it down" because we're actually werewolves... Wasn't funny? Okay.

After I get done with my food I go back up to my room and get dressed. I decide to put on my ripped black skinny jeans, a grey t-shirt, and my converse. I then brush my hair put on a black beanie and tie and a red flannel around my waist. I look in the mirror, 'Man if this doesn't scream dyke, I don't know what does.' I say to myself while grabbing my backpack, phone, and keys.

"ADAM, let's go." I yell to Adam using my Alpha voice. "Yes ma'am, alpha ma'am." Adam says rolling his eyes. "If you want to continue being my Beta I suggest you quit the attitude." I say joking, me and Adam always joke around with each other like that.

Once we get to school we go our separate ways and I immediately want to crawl in a hole. Some of the other people from the other pack that attends this school are extremely homophobic. Oh I forgot to mention that I was a lesbian, actually come to think of it most of the people in my pack are. Adam is definitely gay, he has the biggest crush on Liam the other extremely gay guy at our school.

I get to my locker and get my pre-calc books out. Right when I turn around to walk to my class I'm greeted by Becky and her group of whores, "Ew it's the dyke... Get it away I'll probably catch the disease." She says laughing. "You know Becky I think you're right." I get in her face, "You probably will catch it because I can make any girl turn." I say in her face. This is the first time I've ever stood up to her and her bitches. I can tell the Alpha in me getting more and more strong as my 18th moon gets closer. She looks at me with a blank expression she can see the Alpha in me taking over. She gulps and I back away. "You dare disrespect your future Alpha again and I won't hesitate to rip your throat out." I say before turning around with a huge smile on my face.

When I get to my class I see Miss Johnson with a big smile on her face too. 'She saw me stand up for myself'.

"Hey Liz, I didn't know you were the future Alpha of your pack. Nice job out there with you know who." She says patting me on the back. When she touches my skin little sparks ignite making my whole body warm up. Only she can do that to me, I wonder why. Miss Johnson has always been around to help me through things when my life gets hard. I know she cares about me, she'll never admit that though. I have this weird pull to her, like when I'm not around her I feel empty. Besides Adam and my mom, she's the most important person in my life. I would do anything to protect her, even if it meant sacrificing my own life.

After class she asks me to stay behind and talk to her. "When did you find out you were going to be the future alpha of your pack?" She asked curiously'

*Flashback*

I was sitting on my bed binge watching Grey's Anatomy when I get a call from Alpha Daskar using the pack link, -Liz, come to my office I need to have a talk with you.- -Yes sir.- I get off my bed and run to his office. I knock softly on the door, "Enter" His Alpha voice ringing through the door. I slowly open the door.

"Sit" he says motioning to the chair in front of his desk. I sit and wait for him to talk. "As you know Liz your father, Quint, was the Alpha of the pack before me. I took over when he died 3 years ago." He pauses, then continues, "You also know that I do not have a heir to the titleship. You are the only other wolf with the Alpha gene. So I need you to be my heir. I will pass on my tile to you on your 18th Moon, which is a week from now. I know you can do this, Liz. I have seen your strength, it is true. I also know that you're the most mature and able wolf in the pack. You will need to find a Beta before the day is done." I take a deep breath, this is a lot to take in. I only have a week to get ready.. "Thank you sir, am I dismissed?" he nods and I walk out heading to Adam's room. 'He's gonna be my beta' is say to myself.

End of flashback

"A week ago." I say to Miss Johnson. "Wow that's a really short time to prepare to lead a pack of over 100 werewolves. Are you sure you're ready?" She asks concerned.

"I have to be ready. I don't have a choice. If I don't do this, the pack will tear itself apart." I say smiling at her, she smiles back. "Well I should probably head to class. Can I get a pass?" I ask shyly, "Of course you can. Don't I always give you passes when I hold you after class." She says, I blush. She's the only person that can make me feel this way. I always get nervous around her and I am always blushing around her. I can't wait until my 18th Moon when I find out if she's my mate or not. I really hope she is.

She hands me my pass and I had to my second hour smiling like an idiot.

Hey there people! This is the first book I'm writing that I actually plan on finishing. I hope y'all like it. I plan on posting new chapters once or twice a week. Also sorry for the short chapter, I will try make the next one around 2,00 words instead of 1,000.
