Chapter: 2

Lizzy's POV

Well it's my 18th moon and I'm still waiting for my mate to be revealed, my wolf is getting really reckless. I still haven't seen Miss Johnson yet, so I could still be her mate. 'Please goddess of The Moon, please let her be my mate' I say to myself as I'm walking to her class. I start to get really nervous as I get closer to her door. My wolf almost causing me to shift.

When I walk into her classroom she's sitting at her desk looking toward the door like she's waiting for someone. When our eyes meet, her eyes and my eyes turn a deep red color. My wolf screams inside my head, "MINE." Then I know that she is in fact my mate. I get a really stupid smile on my face. This is gonna be hard at first until I graduate but that will be in 28 days so there isn't much to worry about. Our eyes will have a red tint to them until we mark each other.

The red signifies to people that we have found each other. It shows passion, lust, love, need, and desire. We are both still in the same position as we were when I walked into the classroom. My eyes finally break the eye contact, and I walk to my seat while her eyes track me.

Jenna's POV

Well it's Lizzy's 18th moon. Today is a big day for her. First off she'll find out that I'm her mate and second, she'll be handed the Alpha title ship of her pack. Tonight is also going to be hectic because we will both shift and find each other somewhere in the woods. We will have to let our wolves take full control, but we will still remember what happens. This happens so we can reveal our wolves to each other, though we can already tell what our wolves fur looks like due to the color of our hair. Her hair is a dirty blonde color, while mine is a blackish red color.

When she walks into the door she freezes and our eyes meet each other. When her eyes turn red I can't help but be turned on. Seeing the passion, lust, and desire in her eyes just makes me want to run over to her and kiss her. But I can't do that... Yet.

She breaks her gaze from mine and goes to sit in her seat, my eyes are still focused on her. After almost 4 years of knowing that she's my mate I can finally let my wolf have a bit of fun. But not quite yet, first the school day has to be over. Hopefully it won't go by painfully slow.

Well just as expected, the day went by super slow. I tried so hard to focus on teaching but it was really hard when you have your whole head focused on your soulmate. I'm so glad the day is finally done, I can finally see my beautiful mate. I told her to come to my class at the end of the day, I have to admit I was hella nervous.

Lizzy's POV

It was finally the end of the day. I got all my shit out of my locker and walked to Miss Johnson's classroom. Okay, I seriously need to stop calling her Miss Johnson because it's gonna start getting weird.

I walk to her door and knock on it, I hear her footsteps against the laminate floors, with each step closer my heart rate picks up in speed. She opens the door, we look into eachothers eyes and I see the red in her eyes intensify. "Come in." I do as she says and walk into her room and she closes the door to her room.

"I don't have much time to talk, I have to get home for the ascension." I say looking down at the ground, "I know, I'll be there. All of my pack will be. And then there's tonight. . ." She trails off, I know what she's talking about. Our wolfs meeting. "Yeah"

"Look I just wanted to talk to you, seeing as i've known about. . . This. . . For almost 4 years now. I'm really happy that you finally know, and that I can ask you this without worry about the school board ripping my throat out." She pauses, "Will you go on a date with me this weekend. Saturday to be exact, I'll pick you up around 6:30ish." She asks. I can't help but smile like an idiot, "Of course I will. What kind of attire should I wear." I ask blushing furiously.

"Wear something comfy but not too comfy, also bring a sweatshirt, a change of clothes, and a bathing suit." She says winking at me, I can't help but blush again. I nod my head, "Okay well if that's all Jenna I should really get going." I say really wishing I could stay with her.

"Okay and by the way" she gets close to my ear and whispers, "You look absolutely adorable when you blush." I laugh a little to hide the fact that I'm extremely turned on right now. She backs away from my ear and kisses me on the cheek. I smile like an idiot. "See you tonight Jenna." I say standing in the doorway. She smiles and nods, I then exit the room and walk out to my car. 'Time to get ready to become Alpha' I say to myself while getting into my car.

 It's around 9:30 when the ascension starts, I'm so nervous. I don't know if i'm ready for so much responsibility.

The crowd of over 230 werewolves starts cheering Alpha Daskars name as he walks up to the podium.

"Alright everyone, calm down." He pauses and waits for the crowd to settle down before beginning to speak again, "As you all know, today is the 18th moon of my heir, which means she will be taking her rightful place as Alpha. Please Lizzy come join me." I stand up from my chair and walk up to the podium next to him. The crowd cheers again. He raises his hand and the crowd settles down. "Okay Lizzy, you ready?" He asks.

"Yes sir, I am." I say looking at him. He nods his head then bites down on my shoulder with his fangs. I feel slight pain at first the a surge of power. My eyes glow bright gold.

He releases his teeth from my shoulder as it glows. My alpha tattoo is forming. I then begin to shift. I let out a loud howl as my bones crack into place. My wolf is bigger. I see everyone else shifting.

Once they all shift the bow and I howl, they howl with me. "Who is your beta?" Daskar asks. "Adam, join me." I say in my Alpha voice. I see him jump through the crowd with obvious happiness on his wolf face. "I present to you, Beta Adam and Alpha Lizzy. The new leaders of the Runshore Pack. May you lead us to victory." He says and we all howl in unison completing the ascension.

I then scan the crowd for my mate knowing I had to give into my wolf.

I meet the most beautiful wolf i've ever seen in my entire life. She's got a reddish black coat with reddish blue eyes. I automatically know that's Jenna. I leap of the stage giving my wolf full control.

As I reach her she starts to run toward the forrest.

-So you're gonna play it like that. Okay two can play at that game- I say to her through pack link. I run to catch up with her, once I do I run past her. -Catch me if you can blue eyes- I tell her again. -So we're giving each other nicknames now. Okay blondie- She replies. I stop in a clearing in the woods, I can' see her anywhere. That worries me. I look around, I thought she would've caught up with me by now.

Then suddenly I get tackled by a wolf. I realize it's her, -Holy fuck! You scared me- I'm now on my back and she hovering over me with a wolf grin on her face. I get up from under her and shove her slightly with my head. I can't help but admire her wolf. It's so beautiful, -Stop staring at me like that.- She says putting her head under paws. I trot back over to her, -What? I can't admire my beautiful mate?-

She uncovers her wolf face and gives me that lovely wolf smile.

She stands back up and scratches behind my ear with her teeth, I do the same to her. Doing this means that we both accept each other as mates.

For the rest of the night we just wolf play. This is the most fun I've had in a long time. Once the sun starts coming up we head back to my pack house. Once we arive we shift and walk up to my room. I'm so tired, and I can tell she is too. So we just go to sleep. Before she falls asleep I wrap my arms around her. She snuggles into me more and we drift off to sleep.

I could get used to this feeling.
