It Was Just A One Night Stand

One week

It has been one week since we brought the girls home.
The nursery in beautiful and our apartment is so cozy and perfect.
The girls have been getting hundreds of presents from everyone.
It doesn't make up for the fact that they love to wake up 3 times a night at like 4 am just to be held.
I love them though and I love Lucas.
Lucas got a promotion at the auto shop so now he can work less hours and make more money.
Everything was coming together, or so we thought.
Late that night I got a call from a blocked number but when I answered there was no voice. The same thing happened for the next 3 nights in a row. And the day after I got a message from a blocked message saying
How could you have gotten pregnant Maya , you were supposed to be mine,we were supposed to be together.
I showed Lucas the message.
Who do you think it's from.
I don't know Maya maybe it's just a joke.
I don't know but if it happens again we are going to the police.
Ok baby girl just don't stress to much ok it could just be a prank.

That night at 10:45 I got a message while in bed with Lucas.
P.S baby girl we will be together again soon and we can make our own real family , and btw I love the color in the girls nursery
Me and Lucas bolted to the girl room.
No one was there but my baby girls that were completely asleep.
Lucas grab the girls we are going to Corey's
We grabbed the girls thing and got in the truck as fast at possible.
We got to the house and rang the doorbell
A tired Topanga answered .
Topanag I'm so sorry but I think someone is trying to hurt me and the girls .
She quickly got us inside and we explained everything to her.
Ok you guys can sleep in the guest room as long as you need to and in the morning we will go to the police station.
We went to the room and laid on the bed.
We slept with the two girls between us and Lucas had his arm around all three of us.
I fell asleep so nervous.
In the morning I woke up and Lucas and the girls were gone.
I scrambled out of bed so quick and ran outside.
They were all outside on the table eating breakfast.
I let out a big breath.
I calmed myself down and went to grab some coffee.
I filled up the mug and was walking to the table when I got a message.
Before looking at it I looked at Riley and Topanga holding my girls.
It mad me so happy.
I opened the message and I was so shocked I dropped my coffee and I froze.
Lucas ran to me and caught me right before I fell , he looked at my phone in horror.
Corey came running to us .

Correy read it out loud.
"I love the way you guys sleep like a family Maya , that will be us soon enough".
I saw Topanga and Riley hold my girls closer. I knew they would be safe.
I stood their frozen until I walked to the couch and just looked at my babies.
He was here Corey he followed us . He could be anywhere.
It's OK my little girl we will go to the cops.
We all huddled into the van and went to the police station .
Maya and Corey stayed in the waiting room with the girls , while me, Lucas , and topanag talked to the police.
We told them everything and they told us too all come into an office.
We all went and I held Riley while Lucas held Peyton.
The chief explained to us that he had sent my phone to a machine that was gonna trace the messages and could tell us who's phone their coming from.
We all waited patiently until the result came back .
The officer sat upfront of us .
Ok the message are from a number, 895-347-7698 , the phone is registered to a Mr. ---
The chief got caught off by Riley

We all sat in silence. I was completely shocked. Finally I spoke.
I..I.. it can't be josh, He ignored me all my life and he wanted nothing to do with me. There's no way he would want to hurt me or my girls.

Before I could say anything Lucas answered for me.

The chief walked out and we all sat there in shock.
Finally Corey spoke out.

No Maya in sorry. I'm sorry that I didn't realize it. I didn't realize when he would only come over if you were there and he would get so mad when you dated someone. I didn't notice it was about you. I didn't notice he was becoming obsessed.

A couple minutes later , the chief came in again. He told us that they had him in a waiting cell that we could see him now.
We all walked to the cell slowly.
I was holding my girl while Lucas had the other and one had around my waist.
My supportive family behind me and there he was.
In the cell, his eyes were bloodshot red and he looked like he hadn't slept for days. He looked insane.
He saw me and spoke.
Well well well my beautiful Maya , you're finally here. So gorgeous I could just eat you up.
His voice was scratchy and scary.
It wasn't the Josh I remember, it was an empty shell.
