His stare was cold and hard. His beautiful brown eyes that used to sparkle were now cold and dark. His stare seemed to say "I hate you".
I felt pain looking at him.
But feeling Lucas hand wrap around my waist made all the pain go away.

We all walked away while Josh screamed in the background for me.

While we were talking to the chief he told us that Josh matched a man that they were looking for who had done an armed robbery of a bank.
He would be going away for atleast 4 years.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
The boy that I was in love with went mad and there was nothing I could do to help him.
I could feel his pain but I knew that it wasn't him.
His eyes were dark and his beautiful smile had faded.
His laugh would never be heard again and his amazing personality would be lost forever.

It was like a peace of me was gone and there's was nothing I could do.
In that moment Lucas looked into my eyes and I noticed something.
His eyes were still sparkling and his smile haven't faded. He was still there. Josh might have been my first love but Lucas was gonna be my last. He was my boyfriend, the father of my girls ,and my everything. He was the reason that I Maya Hart was gonna be ok. That's why I love him.
