He walks me home.
Aiden Walker walks me, Natasha Lee, home.
Our hands entwine with each other, in a weird and amazingly comfortable way. I glance at his side profile; wet disheveled gorgeous golden hair, tall mighty nose, not too thin but not too thick lips, and protruding cheekbones.
I never knew he was this beautiful.
The rain has stopped and the sun has set, I really want to defenestrate the dimpled barista. I produce an angry huff and he glances at me, raising one eyebrow, a shade darker than his hair.
"I want to defenestrate someone," I tell him. His brows knot with each other, "Defenestrate?" "It means to throw someone out."
"Oh."
Cue another silence. I can see my porch from here and our hands still tangled in one another. I blink my eyes, wide and uneasy. He feels my tenseness and slips away carefully before I clutch his hand back. He looks up at me and I look back at him. We stop walking.
I turn my head to him and he looks at me with his eyes, warm kind ones; not the cruel smug ones. He wipes a wet lock behind my ear and produces a heart-stopping smile, for me, "You'll be okay, Natasha."
He sounds so earnest and I just have to believe him.
I let go of his hands and turn away from him, with his gaze on my back; comforting.
I believe him.
notes :
Beside how cringe-worthy this chapter is, I have nothing to say.
Good day!
