"Hello... Hello! Is this thing working? Did I turn the knob? Yes I did! See look the knob is... oh... ok now I turned the knob." Suddenly the dark void of my dreamless sleep was filled with three voices. The darkness melted into the face of a boy trying to adjust the picture by tilting it left and right. The boy had red hair, blue eyes, and a face that looked like he was calm most of the time. Currently though he was angery and looked very determined to striaghten the screen. Once it was straight another face appeared next to him and slapped him upside the head. The new face looked similar to the first but with rust colored eyes and he looked like he was angry most of the time. "I told you to check the knob five times already, and you are just NOW checking it?" Another slap to the back of the first guy's head. "Hey the knob was turned, then I left to go find a new cable to replace the one that looked like a mouse had chewed on." A third face popped up behind the first to boys and he looked way to happy for his own good. He looked like the first two guys but his eyes were different colors, one blue and one green. He gave a soft giggle and said, "I was the one who turned the knob while you got the wire. Also you do realize that the machine is working right?" The first two boys were about to attack him but at that sentence they turned toward me and looked embarrassed. The first boy was about to speak but I was upset. "BOYS! What have I told you about fighting while the dream projector is on?" All three of their shoulders slumped and they bowed their heads in shame. At the same time they spoke, "To not fight." I nodded my head and spoke again. "And what did you do?" Their heads ducked down lower, " We fought while it was on." I breathed in and out and finally smiled. "Ok now that I am done lecturing you... What are you doing in my dreams? The dragon protocol clearly states that their is to be no interaction between dragons while in the middle of a two decade scatter. You guys are three years older than me you should know this by now. Even Allen knows all of the rules of dragon protocol." The three boys were more relaxed as I continued speaking but gained confused looks when I said my baby brothers name. The first boy who appeared on the screen, Daniel, look to his brothers and then looked at me like I was crazy. "Who is Allen?" I forgot that my cousins had never met my brother. "Do you guys remember how before the colony was attacked my mom still had an egg that had not hatched yet? And how Bailey and I had a coin flip to see who would get to name the baby after it hatched? Well I won the coin flip and the egg hatched about an hour after we escaped the ambush. We got a new baby brother and the name Allen seamed to suit him just fine." The boy who was sitting behind his brothers, Randy, suddenly jumped up and pushed the other two out of the way with the biggest smile on his face. "Really, that is awesome! Can he breath fire, water, or air? How high can he fly? What does he look like? Can he speak all languages yet? What is his favorite cartoon? Can he make brownies?" A hand came from his left side and shoved him out of the way. There sat the last brother, Jacob, and he looked angery which is normal for him. "Don't waste time Randy. We have more important matters to talk about." Randy looked like he was going to cry but then Daniel sat back up and spoke to Randy. "Speaking of brownies..." Randy stop what he was doing and started to panic. "I LEFT THE BROWNIES IN THE OVEN!!!" The boy seemed to run for his life as he ran to go save his baked goods. I tried not to laugh at their crazy antics but my shoulders were shaking with the effort and I had to close my eyes and shake my head at their behavior. I really did miss my cousins these past six years. "I did miss you guys." The two brothers left on the screen looked back at me after watching their other brother run to the oven. "Yeah we miss you to." We all smiled and enjoyed the calm moment when Randy started yelling in the background. "Hey how mad would you guys be if I said I forgot to turn the oven on?" Que facepalm from everyone else. The picture started to go fuzzy and I started to feel a pain in my neck and pressure on the front of my body. "Wait, wait, wait, don't wake up yet!" Daniel said as he started flicking switches and pressing buttons. "It looks like someone is waking her up D. Christine listen very carefully. We are going to need you to..." *static* "...and then at sunset start..." *static* "Can you..." *static* "...brownies?" And then I woke up with a bright light flashing in my eyes.
