Finding Love

Chapter 14

Jayda POV

I finally get to go back to my own house today. My own things. My own room. Just me and my baby girl in our own house all alone. No one to scare her or me, just thinking about it I was getting all excited. I had such a great surprise waiting for her at the house I couldn't wait for her to see it.

I slowly slid Taylor off me and got out of bed. I had to make a few phone calls and clean up a bit before we could leave. I went into the kitchen and grabbed my cell phone and Taylor's checking for any important notifications. I had a text from my sister just saying hi, and a missed call from the builder of the surprise, that can't be good. Tay had a call from her brother and her cousin, also just saying hi. I picked my phone back up and called back the builder, wanting to make sure everything was okay.

He picked up the phone and told me that everything was going good just wanted to know what color i wanted the cushions. I thought for a moment then answered with red cushions and black pillows. He chuckled, and thanked me for my input then hung up.

I walked back into the bedroom to see Taylor awake and watching TV. I climbed into bed with her and put her on top of me. "Did I say you could watch TV?" I tickled her a bit so she knew I was kidding and she giggled "no mommy." I grabbed the remote lowering the volume and she cuddled into a ball on top of me like always. "Baby you cannot possibly get any closer then you are now, if you did you would be inside me." She giggled and traced shapes on my stomach while I pet her hair. "Your my good girl aren't you?" She nodded fast smiling wide, "yes mommy" she answered.

We laid there for a while just enjoying each other's company until I heard her stomach growl. I looked at her and she knew I was going to make her eat. "Cmon baby girl let's go get breakfast." She shook her head, " nu uh. Dat no my stomach. Rawwwrrrr. See it was me no my stomach." I laughed and picked her up placing her on my hip. "Well why don't we go get some food anyway. It's way past breakfast time." She huffed and nodded, knowing she wasn't going to win. I walked us downstairs to the kitchen and had the chef make pink pancakes today, purple was yesterday. I put Tay in her seat and brought her her sippy cup with flavored water in it. I didn't like her drinking a lot of juice so I found the favored waters and told her they were juice. She never saw the bottle so she had no problem with it.

Her pancakes were done and she ate them plain and of course with her hands, my messy girl. Once she was done she pushed the plate away and turned around looking for me, like always.

I walked over to her and picked her up giving her a piggy back ride back up to our room. I plopped her on the bed and told her to get changed while I showered. I came out to find her completely naked, jumping on the bed with gummy worms in her mouth. I stood there for about 45 seconds until she noticed I was there and she dropped to her bum.

"Sowwy mommy" I smiled, "it's ok baby, finish getting dressed so we can get going. Alright?" " Alwite"

She was so cute. I went in the closet and picked out clothes for her. A cute pink skirt and a white crop top, she looked like my little princess, which she was duh.

We did the rest of what we had to do and grabbed our bags getting to the car. I buckled her in the back so she could play or sleep if she wanted to and be comfortable. I jumped in the front and got on the road, I wanted to get home.

We put on the radio singing lots of crazy songs, of course Disney included. Tay was having fun, smiling and laughing, and really all that I cared was that she was happy. I smiled at her and she smiled back and went back to doing her puzzle on her iPad.

She was back to my Taylor for a bit, it being the middle of the day and a road trip was more of a normal us thing then anything. We had been on the road for about 4 hours now and still had a while to go. A few minutes later I realized how quiet Tay had gotten and I looked back to see the iPad had switched to coloring. I giggled and tapped her leg getting her attention. "Watcha coloring baby?" I asked. She quickly hid the iPad probably hoping I didn't see, "is a present for u. No peekies." I nodded and looked back at the empty concrete my car was on.

Taylor POV

I was coloring an i love you sign for mommy. I hope it comes out good and she likes it. I was getting a little antsy as it has now been 6 hours in the car and we still have two more to go. I huffed and unbundled, readjusting so I was laying down across the back seats. I had my pillow pet elephant and turtle. The elephant was at my head and the turtle was at my feet.

I was almost done coloring when the iPad died. I whined and shut the cover, deciding to close my eyes instead. After a few minutes of trying to get comfortable I gave up and jumped in the front with mommy. I buckled myself in and got comfortable, then moved mommy's hand so I could hold it. I slept better when there was mommy contact Hehe.

I woke up and mommy was unpacking the car, we were home! I jumped up fast and ran inside all the way up to my room. I turned the doorknob and it was locked, weird. I ran down to ask mommy and she said that there was a surprise in there for me and I had to wait for her to unlock it.

I huffed and agreed helping mommy finish unpacking. She finally made her way upstairs and unlocked the door. I opened my eyes and I couldn't believe it. It was everything I had ever wanted.
