Riley's POV:
I took in a deep breath as zipped up my suitcase and looked around my room one last time. I wouldn't be seeing my room for another two months! The mere thought made me nervous. After getting signed to RCA Records, things had gotten serious and gone up a notch and we had to match the standards set by the company. Of course, they must have seen something in us that they agreed to sign us but we shouldn't give them any reason to doubt or even reverse their decision. Adjusting the straps of my backpack, I walked over to the full length mirror in my room and stood in front of it, taking in my reflection. I hadn't changed much... But why did I feel so different? Shaking my head to clear my thoughts, I dragged my suitcase to my side and fished out my phone, taking a picture of my reflection.
"@RileyMcDonough: on the move."
Toby's POV:
We had recorded in LA before. We'd lived in hotels in LA before, too. But since this was the first time we were recording and travelling after we got signed to the record label, we were living life in style. I smirked as I stared at the endless building of the Four Seasons. This was going to be SO AWESOME!
"Toby, move it already!" I jumped slightly at Connor's voice and hurriedly grabbed my bags from the car and followed my brothers into the luxurious hotel lobby to check in. That didn't stop me from ogling at Four Seasons' interior though!
Connor's POV:
This place was INCREDIBLE! Never in a million years would I have thought that we'd be staying HERE while recording. Well, we weren't actually recording but we only had to add a few final touches to the new EP, All The Lights. But even then, with RCA letting us stay at the Four Seasons was a big... No, HUGE deal and we had to make sure that we worked extra hard on the EP so the company and the public liked it. That was our only goal so far.
I headed to the main desk of the hotel with Riley and Toby to check in. While they checked for our reservation... RESERVATION... AT THE FOUR SEASONS... I FELT LIKE A PRINCE OR SOMETHING!! *clearing throat* While the lady behind the desk did what she was good at, I began looking around. I caught a glimpse of Riley and Toby's awestruck expressions, with their mouths hanging open, and suppressed a laugh. After all, all the sounds in the lobby echoed, even our sneakers did so I didn't want to scare the... Expensively important guests and get kicked out. That's why I saved the laughter for the room. As I looked around, I suddenly got a weird feeling inside me. You know that feeling you get when someone's watching you? That was the feeling I got. I turned around to find no one there. Just a few guests talking on the phone, sitting on the sofas or making their way either to the entrance or to elevators. I furrowed my brows. Something really was there! Scanning the area again, I shrugged and turned back to the desk, where the lady was handing Riley our room key. Still a bit unconvinced over what I had missed to see, I grabbed our luggage with Toby and followed Riley towards our room... Or should I say Suite. I smirked at the thought. This stay would actually be worth while, I guess.
Lindsey's POV:
"NO!!" I huffed angrily at Haley. Why was she being so stubborn?? My offer wasn't too hard to accept!
"Oh come on, Haley! We've been studying and working for two weeks straight now! I want a break!" I whined, trying to snatch the photography book from Haley's hand.
"There's so much you can do in the suite! Watch TV, listen to music, dance around, whatever but LET ME STUDY!! I have a conference in two days which is extremely important and I need to know my field well for it!" Haley argued back, turning back to face the desk, fixing the lamp's light on her book. She pushed her glasses up her nose and quickly got engrossed in the material again. I let out a frustrated yell. Stomping my way to the desk, I saw Haley lift her hands off of the book to take notes and I took the chance to grab it and slam it shut. Haley's head jerked up and she glared at me.
"HEY! I was reading that! You didn't even let me see the page number!" Haley yelled, ripping off her glasses and standing up. I rolled my eyes.
"You were on page 53. Look I'll make you a deal. We go out, have fun and return within a few hours and I'll give you back your book and you can study all you want. PLEASE!" I suggested. Haley took in a deep breath and rubbed her eyes. She glanced at her notes and then at me.
"Yeah oka---" I didn't let her finish as I squealed loudly and ran upto Haley, squishing the life out of her. She choked in surprise, coughing a bit and laughing at the same time. She patted me on the back and pulled me away. I couldn't stop grinning, causing her to give me a tired smile in return.
"I guess we could do with a break," she said, chuckling. I shoved her playfully.
"NOW YOU'RE TALKING!" I yelled, causing us both to laugh.
"But I have no money on me right now so I'll have to take it out from the ATM and--" Haley began but I cut her off... Again. WHAT?!! I was excited!
"Leave that to me! Today is my treat!" I grinned as I ran to grab the ATM card that my parents had given me from my bag and rushed back to Haley.
"I'll be back in a jiffy. Till then, go get ready. I'm leaving your book on the table but NO STUDYING or I'll throw it out the window!" I threatened but a smile still made its way to my face as Haley let out a loud laugh. With that, I grabbed the spare room key and ran out, dashing to the elevator and slamming my hand on the lobby button. They had the ATMs on the lobby, next to the check-in desk. I skipped... Literally skipped into the lobby with a huge smile on my face when I froze.
WHAT ON EARTH?!? Connor? Riley? Toby? At the check-in desk? WHAT?!? WHAT WERE THEY DOING THERE? I MEAN HERE?? At that very moment, I saw Connor turn around. OH SHIT! I scrambled to the nearest pillar, almost hitting a guest head on, and pressed myself against it. Thank goodness the pillar was wide enough to hide my entire frame. I peaked from the corner of it to find Connor looking around all confused before he turned back. He grabbed the luggage with Toby and followed Riley towards the elevators. My eyes widened as they disappeared into one elevator and I let out a breath I didn't realise I was holding. Then it hit me... HALEY! I had to tell her! Mission Shopping in LA was immediately dropped as I sprinted back to the elevators and prayed that the boys weren't on our floor as I raced back to our room.
