Riley's POV:

Four words: Last day of studio. I couldn't believe it! We had just finished our new EP. I mean... DONE. All the long nights and hard work had finally paid off. Wow... I grinned widely as I stared at the ever-excited Toby, who was rambling on about how awesome the EP will be and how he couldn't wait for the public to hear it.

"Hey calm down, Tobs!" Connor said, laughing loudly at our baby brother.

"AND IT WILL BE SO AWESOME TO SEE THE PUBLIC'S REACTION AND-- huh what? Did you say something?" Toby asked, stopping suddenly in between his high pitched excitement. I stifled a laugh as Connor grinned. We looked at each other and burst out laughing. Toby gazed from Connor to me, all confused.

"Nothing, Toby. Carry on!" I said, laughing. Connor's eyes widened.

"NO NO! Please don't carry on!" he yelled, surprising Toby who jumped slightly. I let out another laugh as Connor cleared his throat and looked out the window of the Range Rover. I laughed silently at Connor's awkwardness and Toby's confusion.

Sometimes it felt so awesome to be the middle child. You got to know stories from both the siblings older and younger than you and you felt like you were reading a book and knew all the secrets that the characters didn't know amoungst each other. I took in a deep breath as I smiled and stared out the window onto the LA streets. We were heading back to the Four Seasons... Still couldn't believe where we were staying despite us having been there for the past three weeks... To change and have a fun day off. Actually, let me rephrase that. A MUCH NEEDED day off... Or was it a few days off. Either way, we knew we were going to party the night away... Nahh just kidding. The most partying we'd do would be to have a movie marathon with lots and lots of junk food. Yeah, we were a bunch of nerds. I felt the car slow down and we all jumped out as it came to a stop outside the hotel's entrance.

"So, what are we gonna do for the rest of the day, guys?" Connor asked us with a grin. Toby and I smiled at each other.

"Whatever it is, we can officially enjoy ourselves after almost a year of hard work," I answered, walking backwards and spreading my arms around. The arm spreading wasn't a really good idea... Neither was the walking backwards because as we neared to the entrance, I crashed into someone, causing their stuff to fall on the sidewalk. Shit...

Haley's POV:

Fours words: I was really late. Like really, REALLY late! I had stayed up most of the night, studying and researching for yet another conference and had slept quite late. I had done that before and never missed my alarm. But then again, if I did miss my alarm, Lindsey would wake me up. That couldn't have happened because Lindsey had her own conference to attend. Hence, there was me throwing on the first formal pair of clothing I could find and stuffing all my things into my side bag as I sprinted out of the room, slamming the door shut. I ran as hard as I could to the elevators and jammed my thumb into the ground floor button.

As the elevator took it sweet time (which seemed EXTREMELY slow when you're late, like I was), I took a second to catch my breath and fix my hair. The elevator dinged open and I almost yelped out in surprise as I was greeted by the figures of at least a dozen extremely well dressed aged men and women. My eyes widened slightly as I cleared my throat, straighted my dress shirt and awkwardly squeezed my way through the... Elite crowd, smiling and wishing them a good morning as I crossed them.

"How sweet of the young lady to say Good Morning like that. You don't find that in the generations now adays," I heard one of them say. I blushed slightly and smiled again. Remembering the conference, my heart skipped a nervous beat as I sped up and raced to the entrance. Shoot! I hadn't checked my schedule! I mentally kicked myself in the head as I fished through my bag to find my schedule. My head was dipped and I was speed walking ahead without looking... Not a good combination. Why? Because I ran head first into someone in front of me, causing my things to fall out. Thanking my reflexes, I managed to grab my phone and heavy binder with either hands but some papers managed to fall out. I took in a deep breath, trying not to curse out loud and looked at the person I'd ran, ready to apologize to them. But none of that happened as my words got lost in my mouth as I stared into the eyes of one guy who I hadn't seen in a whole year. One guy who I had been told by Lindsey was staying in the Four Seasons too. One guy who had made a confession last time I saw him that still kept me up late into the night and made my heart skip a beat everytime I thought about it. That one guy was none other than Riley McDonough.
