Ellie woke me up. I walked with her into the kitchen and she sat on the counter.

I yawned and rubbed my eyes. We stared at each other for like 3 minutes then started laughing pretty hard.

We calmed down and I kissed her forehead. She's so cute.

Cam appeared out of nowhere and waved.

"Morning cam, goodmorning uncle Cameron." Me and Ellie say.

"Goodmorning." He says.

"So Ellie, what do you want for breakfast?" I ask and she shrugs.

"Pancakes and bacon!" She answered after a moment. I nod.

"Alright, go watch some spongebob with uncle Nash and uncle Taylor." I say.

She runs off toward the living room while I grab the things to cook. Maybe chocolate chip pancakes with bacon would be better..

Yeah.

I mixed in chocolate chips with the pancake mix then heated the stove. I started cooking everything.

I stood with my arms crossed, one leg outward, and the spatula sticking out from under my arm. Lord. I'm such a mother anymore.

"It's cute tho." Someone whispered. I turn around and seen Cameron with his face in his phone. He's probably just thinking out loud.

I finished up the food and everyone made their plates.

After we ate, Ellie had to take a shower so I helped her with that. She got out and I showed her how to wrap a towel around her hair.

She laughed and walked with me to her room to find clothes.

I roamed the closet until I found this really cute outfit that looks comfortable.

I held it up for her approval. She nodded excitedly.

She put her clothes on and I got out the supplies for her hair. I blow dried it and brushed it at the same time.

When we finished--

Shit.

Her hair looks like a damn Afro!! How the hell did I do that?! Oh I forgot you CANT BRUSH CURLY HAIR!!

Mahogany!

"Hold on Ellie, I gotta call aunt mahogany." I said. She nods and goes to her closet to play with toys.

"Mahogany!" I left Ellie's room.

"Mahogany I fucked up!! I brushed Ellie's hair!! And we have so much to do today and I just, ugh! How do I fix this?" She laughed.

"Shawn it's not the end of the world, just put her hair in a messy bun with some Bobby pins. It'll be cute because her hair is all frizzy." She says. I face palm.

"Why didn't I think of that? Alright well I gotta go, thanks Lox, you da bestest." I say and she laughs with me.

"Alright. Talk to you later." I hang up and walk back into Ellie's room. I searched her dresser until I found a bunch of Bobby pins and some hairspray.

"Ellie, cmon princess let's do your hair." I say and she skips over to me. She sat in front of me and I gathered her hair in a ponytail then just went from there.

I think I did pretty good!

"Thanks dad!" I smiled and she hugged me, I hugged back.

"You're welcome sweetie, now we just gotta go shopping." We sigh. I learned that Ellie hates shopping as much as I do over the time that she's been here.
