👥Bahja Rodriguez-Henson
It's been about 2 weeks since I was sent back to grounds. we had drills at 4:30 in the morning and I woke up at 4:15. great! -___- I'm loosing 15 minutes of extra sleep. But then I realized it was my daughters birthday today. I had to send a letter.
Dear Keelie,
It's your mother baby. I'm just saying, happy 4th birthday sweetie. mommy misses you and she loves you. I wish I was there to give you the kisses, hugs, and gifts, but I can't. but your daddy is there. I'm just letting you know that I am fine, and doing well. And enjoy your birthday babes. and as for you Jason, please spoil my baby for me...
~ Love Bahja Henson💋
I folded the paper and put some money in it then sealed it up. I got out of bed, and climbed down the ladder since I was top bunk and made my way to the mail room. and putting it in P.O Box number 1763 where it would be mailed to my family. I got my whistle and horn and sure enough it was 4:30. I went cabin to cabin, room to room, blowing my whistle and trumpet.
"GET UP YOU LITTLE SHITS!! TIME FOR DRILLS!!! GET UP!!!" I screamed as I blew my horn.
I heard people groaning and I smirked. I love that sound. I made my way to the wash room and I had my clip board. I bet your wondering what I'm doing. well, I'm the 4th rank from the general. I'm in charge of low rank soldiers and rookies. my job is to get them up, and assign them to jobs and drills. Do I have to do them too? uh DUH?! I don't wanna die 5 seconds into the war. the fuck I look like? if you don practice your drills, your basically committing suicide.
"Soldier Bart, Ford, and Butler! your in charge of fire arms today. go load them, polish them, and set them up in the weapons drill field." I said as I checked them off on my clipboard.
"Soldier Daniels, Watson, and Longino. your on breakfast duty!"
I continued assigning the stations for today.
Friday.

Jason's Pov: it's been weeks since Bahja left for U.S Army Campgrounds. I'm honestly nervous. Bahja left for 6 months before but I had no worries before because she was just a trainee. but now that Bahja earned her badges and became a real soldier, I'm nervous if my wife would ever return. I got up, threw on a shirt and went to Keelie's and JJ's room to see them still sleep. I walked downstairs and fixed me some coffee. as it was brewing I went outside to check the mail and it was nothing but bills. water bill, electric bill, Internet bill, and YESS A LETTER FROM BAHJA!!! it was sent Tuesday so I know she's okay thank God. I ran inside and turned off my coffee and fixed it up then I opened the letter. it was a birthday letter to Keelie. I called Keelie downstairs and she came down, rubbing her eyes. I picked her up and sat her on my lap.
"Guess what Kee!"
She Yawned. "what daddy?"
"Your mother sent in a letter."
Right then Keelies eyes brightened up and she cheesed from ear to ear.
"GIMME GIMME GIMME!!! OPEN!!"
"alright alright." I chuckled, getting the mail opener I opened the letter and read it outloud.
"Dear Keelie,
It's your mother baby. I'm just saying, happy 4th birthday sweetie. mommy misses you and she loves you. I wish I was there to give you the kisses, huge, and gifts, but I can't. but your daddy is there. I'm just letting you know that I am fine, and doing well. And enjoy your birthday babes. and as for you Jason, please spoil my baby for me...

I was so happy and Keelie was beyond excited. money fell out from the letter and I gave it to Keelie. She gasped and snatched it from my hand. she threw it in the air and twirled around.
"IM RICHHHHH!!!" She yelled.
"I'll take you and your brother out shopping and sky zone how about that."
She jumped excitedly and gave me a hug.
"Go brush your teeth and wash up. get dressed."
She ran to the bathroom as I went to go wake up JJ. After, he was excited about our day as well. He went to the other bathroom and I made up their beds and cleaned up the room. I feel like a single father, Bahja would usually do all this. I went in their closets and picked out an outfit for the each of them. for JJ, I got out a red plaid buttoned up polo shirt with a red polka dot bow tie to match. me and my son has that bow tie swag, bow ties were always in the family. I got him true religion jeans with some red shell toe shoes to match with one of his gold thick chains Bahja got him at the mall a couple months ago. I got Keelie out a Tinker bell Disney shirt, and some flower shorts with her favorite silver sandals. I went back downstairs finding my coffee cold so I put in the microwave after a minute I took it out and sat on the couch, I flipped on Fox 5 news while going through all the mail waiting on the kids.
News Reporter: "Korea Nuclear Bombs attack on America on Washington D.C. this morning 3:15 AM. And requested a war over dominance of the U.S.A. They're trying to take over America. it's up to our economy and our U.S Army to defend our country. Korea requested war deadline to be December 21st. Will find out Obamas suggestions but don't get to comfortable people, America might be getting into a war. Stay tuned for Federal responses tomorrow at 7:35 on Fox 5 ne---"
I cut the tv off and put my head in my hands. Lord God if your listening please don't send my wife to war. Let her come home to me one more time.
