After the meeting I was nervous as hell. Scared? No. But nervous. Leaving my family. I wasn't scared of death but I was scared of where I'll be going after death and if my family would be okay. I went to the cabins, and laid in my bunk. My roommates started coming in as well when that rude rookie came in with some bags. what the hell?
"Hey ma!" He said throwing his bags in the empty bunk under mines.
"No, thats Steve's bunk." I said irritated.
"Didn't you hear ma? Steve got his bunk changed into cabin 24. Sergeant Mike sent me in here. You are my roommate."
"First my name is NOT 'ma', You will call me captin Rodriguez. I'm rule you rookie." I rolled my eyes, laying back down.
"Yo chill Robbie, Bahja is not the one to mess with." one of my associates Yvonne said.
"Ohhhhh Bahja....i like that name."
I wanted to just chop his baby carrier off bruh.
"No seriously, if you think you have a chance with her. your wrong. 1. she's not easy...period. 2. She's married......3. Sh--"
"SHE GOT TWO KIDS!!!" Zac interrupted. He's always worrying about my kids. He tried to get with me til he found out I had kids, he doesn't like kids.
If me being married don't send this rookie the message, hopefully me having two kids will trigger his mind to leave me alone
"I LOVE KIDS!!!" He said.
Oh damn....
He got undressed out of his uniform and kept his green undershirt on with some Army shorts and got in his bunk.
"Good night Captin Bahja. stay beautiful baby."
"nigg--" the lights then cut off so I just kept my mouth closed. I turned on the wall lamp and decided to write a letter to my husband, then to Zonnique and my parents.
Jason's Pov: It was almost time for the results to see if we was going into war or not. I hope the General tried to negotiate with Korea. I turned on the news and they were talking about another subject so I just stalled waiting on Zonnique to bring the kids. Me and the guys as in Bre and Niques boyfriends...were gonna have a beer. The doorbell rung, and I looked the window and seen Zonnique and Bres car so I answered the door.
"DADDY!!!!" Keelie and JJ tackled me.
"Hey my love bugs." I picked them both up. "you enjoy your vacation at Aunty Zonniques house??"
"YEAAA!" They both yelled.
"Well it's late y'all so go take a bath and get ready for bed. remember JJ brush back and forth when brushing your teeth."
"I know dadddddd! Gosh!" They ran upstairs.
"So Zonnique, really. how were they?"
"Keelie was fine, but JJ is bad as hell."
"NOOOO! not my little man."
"YES! your little man. He cussed me out and told me to lay off the starch when I was washing his shirt."
I started laughing. That's my boy! They sat down and I went and got the beer and got the ladies some red wine. We sat on the couch and the right subject came on so we all got quiet as the news reporter spoke.
"Back to you Shirley."
She's smiling.............................

She speaks. gasp. "Well General confirmed earlier today that America will be going into war. U.S Army, U.S Navy, U.S. Marines, and Russia, will be going to Iran early on January 1st where the war would take place. Pray for America. N--"
My heart dropped......I looked at the others and they had the same shocked look on their faces...Zonnique then started crying as her boyfriend Quincy comforted her. Bre didn't cry but she fell back into her boyfriends, Jays, arms. Pure envy is what I feel. I want Bahja.....my wife...to be in my arms.. but no, she's fighting for our country. there's not a problem with that but at the same time. IT IS!!!
We'll continue this conversation for another time. when everyone calms down
COMMENT!!! VOTE!!
