harry has always believed that people are made of stardust.
he was a big believer of the theory in which the cosmos that held everything in the universe together will eventually make a pair of the same dying star meet.he remained optimistic
when it comes to love.
he had faith destiny
and love at first sight.
he believed,
but right now it doesn't
matter what he believes.he has to deal with university
and the dreaded sensation of
unpacking and organizing his non-furnished flat.on the other side of the lobby,
louis was fidgeting with his phone,
trying to sort out his recently cancelled flight.
he has a job interview in approximately six hours and
he was already losing it.with his heart still healing
and his mind still spinning,
he mutters "can my life get
any worse?" as he navigated
through the crowd."all passengers of flight 301 bound for lax, please stay in the lobby until further notice." the intercom echoed throughout the massive building.
louis runs a hand through his hair as he held his suitcase tightly on his free hand.
apparently he wasn't the only casualty of the delayed flight,
he spotted a seat next to a young curly haired man who was probably younger than him by a year or two.the boy was surprisingly attractive,
he was given the luxury of having
flawless features. from his jawline to his emerald green eyes. it made louis feel quite giddy.the stranger he was checking out happened to glance at him a moment later, causing him to subtly look away.
he sighs,
and so did the boy who went by the name harry.
harry adjusted the earbuds positioned on his ears whilst
louis brought out his headphones.they were both lost on the music
pounding against their skull.
their bodies were only inches away and despite the fact that every other chair on that row was empty, louis feel like a creep for choosing to sit next to the boy who didn't seem to notice his presence at all.louis taps his fingers impatiently on his knees,
harry began to do the same
as if they were synchronized.
the beat had them drowning in their own thoughts as the music isolated them from the rest of the passengers that were stranded on the airport who happened to meet the same fate as the two.harry wonders what could be
waiting for him on the other
side of the world.
a brighter future maybe?
well, right now nothing could be
better than the rolling stones playlist than he was quietly singing along to. he knew every word to every song of the legendary band.louis, on the other hand, was fighting the urge to air drum to the heart thumping beat of blink-182 blasting through his headphones.
just when he thought life
can't get any worse,
his favorite band rushed
to his aid.time was passing by.
louis has been stealing glances
to this boy whose name he was dying to know.their ears were ringing by the
time a familiar song began to play.when you try your best but you don't succeed
harry's zoned out gaze
falls on the floor,
he takes a sharp breath
whilst he tried to hide the
pained expression on his face.when you get what you want but not what you need
louis scratches the back
of his neck."perfect timing." he thought.
when you feel so tired but you can't sleep
stuck in reverse
"i'm familiar with the sensation." harry thought, laughing at how ironic the situation was.
when the tears come streaming down your face
the blank expression on harry's face was replaced with a frown.
when you lose something you can't replace
louis fidgeted with
his shaky hands,
mentally debating whether
he should skip the song or not.it was bringing everything back.
everything that should have been left in past.when you love someone but it goes to waste
could it be worse?
they squirm uncomfortably
on their seats, causing harry's hip to bump into louis.harry sweats,
louis was blindly searching
for the shuffle button.
if he moved, he would probably catch harry's attention.
that was the last thing that he wanted to do now that he found a sense of comfort in his presence.lights will guide you home
and ignite your bones
i will try to fix you
