The rest of the night, Val and I rocked out to music, watched movies, ate ice cream, (YUM!!) and forgot about all of our worries.

Of course, morning came too early. Err, afternoon if you wish. 2 pm isn’t exactly morning. “Val,” I groan, rolling off the couch, making a thud as I hit the ground. “Fudgeface” I say, rubbing my poor butt. “Derek?’ I heard Val call, clearly tired. “What time is it?” she asked, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. “Ummm… 2. Wanna go shopping today?” I suggest. I have money, finally! Hooray for me. “Sure,” she replies getting up. My stomach growled. “Well I’m hungry, what do you want for breakfast?” … “Hmm… toast and Nutella?” … YES! HOORAY FOR NUTELLA! “YES! Mmm Nutella and its goodness. “ We go upstairs to eat. (A/N: NUTELLA IS BEAUTIFUL!!)

“So, where do you want to go next?” Val asked me after we came out of a girly store that she dragged me into. “Umm… food court?” I suggested. “Sure,” we ordered our food and sat down. “I have to go to the bathroom,” she said after we started eating her fries. “Coolio,” she leaves as I look around the food court. Someone grabs my shoulders. “HOLY SHIT WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?” I yell, turning around to see a laughing Sam. “WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!” I yell again, clutching my chest dramatically. He stops laughing, but still smiles. “Aww, your cute. Hey, we need to actually start working on our project soon…” he coughs awkwardly. “Umm, yeah. Tomorrow after school? My house?” I ask. “Yeah, sure.”

Secretly, I hoped this time would be like last time he came over.
