CHAPTER 2
Robin's POV. 6:30am
Bruce told me earlier that Superman's daughter would be staying with us until she was 24. I was whelmed. I've never met her before, but from what I've found on her files, she is trained in all forms of martial arts, can wield almost every weapon, and is a certified genius. I must say I was quite impressed, and am eager to meet her. I hope she'll be able to join the team...Artemis and Megan would be thrilled to have another girl to befriend. She's coming today at 8:00am.
Karla's POV. 8:00am
As I hesitantly stepped out, I found myself looking into the eyes of Robin, the Boy Wonder. He looked a lot like myself, lean but muscular. He also was around my height. About 5'5. I could tell right away that he was an interesting person; he had a quirky smile and a friendly, open posture. Anyway, I'd like to get to know him better. Maybe I won't be so lonely after all.
Robin's POV
Wow. As soon as she stepped out of the black limo, my breath left my lungs. Karla was really beautiful. She was lean, but muscular just like me, with shiny black hair that came to the middle of her arm. She looked similar to Cheshire with her exotic beauty, voluminous hair, and lithe, graceful look, but the similarities ended there. Karla looked like she was crying, and I wanted nothing but to comfort her. Losing your beloved parents can be extremely tough...even if it's only for ten years. I don't know why, but I have a feeling that we'll be great friends.
