School was going to begin soon, so today we were going to go back to school shopping. I had already ordered a brand new Vera Bradley laptop backpack and matching lunchbox, so all we needed to get was school supplies. Mom told us all to print out the supply sheets for our grade and get dressed. I found the list for 8th grade and printed it out. I walked back to Camryn and I's room, took a shower, and picked out a lazy day outfit, since we weren't going to be doing anything else today. My outfit consisted of black Nike shorts and my "Black and Blue" Basketball Tournament shirt ( at my school the black and blue tournament is a basketball tournament. All 4 of our teams play against our rival school's teams and the winner gets the trophy. Teasley [black; my school] has beat Freedom [blue] every year. These games are a huge deal at our school too ). I put on my normal jewelry, which consisted of my bow ring, pearl earrings, and my soccer necklace ( picture in media ), and threw on some black Nike socks. Before walking out of my room, I grabbed my new black Nike running shoes and my Vera Bradley lanyard.

Once I made it downstairs, we got in the car and drove to Target.

When we got back home, we unloaded the car and put out things in our rooms.

I am so not ready to got back to school, but I have too. I am going to be in the 8th grade next year. In 8th grade at Teasley Middle School, you get to take a language if you want too. Instead of having normal reading and language arts classes, you get whichever language you choose and Lit Comp. I'm choosing Spanish.

The only benefit of going back to school is that I get to see my friends more. I also cannot wait until high school because you have more freedoms. I'm ready for high school soccer and dances and other things like that.

"Kar, come down here so we can finalize your birthday party plans! We have to get these invitations out tonight!" Mom yelled from be bottom of the stairs.

"Okay! I'll be down in a sec!" I yelled in response. I started walking down the stairs.

My birthday is on July 16, right before we go back to school. I'm turning 14. We have been planning my party for a while, but we still haven't sent out the invitations.

For my party, me and a couple of my friends are going to stay in a hotel. We are renting out the penthouse of the Renaissance Waverly hotel. I have stayed there before and it is so beautiful.
I am inviting:
Josh
Christian
Kaelyn
Ava
Bennett
Luke
Ella

Once we finished finalizing the plans for my party, It was already 4:00. I decided to watch my favorite movie, Clueless. I made my way to the movie room and turned in the movie. While it was loading, I popped a bag of popcorn. The movie began and my eyes focused solely on the screen.
