I wake up the next morning feeling the best I could after basically going into a junk food coma. I get up hearing my phone buzz on the table next to me. I quickly grab my phone flailing and falling onto the floor. I look at the screen opening the message.
Sourwolf: Hey you didn't text me back everything ok?
Robin: Yeah I'm fine now thanks for asking! I was having a hard time yesterday.
Sourwolf: I'm sorry to hear that! When can we meet? I've been thinking about you nonstop for the past three months.
Robin: I've been thinking about you nonstop too.
Sourwolf: Can we meet at Kate's party 11 o'clock by the front door?
Robin: I can't.
Sourwolf: What are you grounded?
Robin: Kinda.
Sourwolf: Why?
Robin: Scott and I snuck out to go to a rave last weekend.
Sourwolf: Ah. I get it. I kinda have to go to the party even though I honestly don't want to.
Robin: How come? Isn't it every high schoolers' dream to go to a popular girls party on a Friday night?
Sourwolf: Honestly, I'd rather be at home talking with you, reading a book, and spending time with my family.
When Sourwolf said that to me it was like sparks went off in my stomach and they just make me happy. I quickly screenshot that part of the convo.
Robin: Well that sounds like fun to me to. I only went to the rave for Scott's sake he went to go see Allison and I just went cause I knew that he would need a ride home.
Sourwolf: You're a really good friend.
Robin: You honestly have no idea. Him and I have been joined to the hip since we were born.
Sourwolf: Are you guys a thing?
Robin: What kind of "thing"?
Sourwolf: Dating?
Robin: EW!NO! He is my brother.
Sourwolf: Good to know.
Robin: It's good to know that I know that you know its good.
Sourwolf: LOL ;)
Robin: ahaha
Sourwolf: I need to go my mom is calling me. I'll talk to you later? X.
Robin: Yes. Definitely. I will text you later. XX
Sourwolf: Good.
Robin: Great.
Sourwolf: Wonderful.
Robin: Fantastic.
Sourwolf: Magnificent.
After that final text he went offline and I curled up on my bed with the 5th Wave series clutched to my chest reading the first one for the nine hundreath time. I read them until I couldn't read them anymore. Then I got up and started sorting some of my dad's case files out trying to help him. I grab the first case file on the stack from my desk, opening up the folder hanging the pictures on the bulletin board. I grab the red, green, and yellow string from my desk draw along with the thumbnail tacs, I start connecting the pieces and attaching string to pictures seeing how everything connects together in the case. There is a lot of red connecting everything together. The victim was a store clerk that worked on the weekends. I just can't find a reason of why he would be killed no life policies, he didn't have a single ticket or do any jail time, his tox scans were clear. He had straight A's through highschool, he stayed home from college to take care of his grandmother. Nothing s making sense at all in this case. I'll have to ask Parrish about it tomorrow. I keep going through the case until I hear my phone ding again.
Sourwolf: Hey! I had to help my mom put my little siblings down for bed.
Robin: Hey. Don't worry about it it's totally cool. It gave me time to think.
Sourwolf: Think about what?
Robin: You know that case I told you about?
Sourwolf: The one that you shouldn't be looking at.
Robin: The one and the same.
Sourwolf: Yeah what about it?
Robin: Well there is absolutely no reason why this man should be dead. I mean he had a 4.2 GPA. He left college to come back to take care of his sick grandmother. He has never had a parking ticket in his life. I don't understand. I'm missing something right?
Sourwolf: What about his parents?
Robin: Gunned down right in front of him when he was 12.
Sourwolf: Was that case ever solved?
Robin: No.
Sourwolf: Suspects?
Robin: Several.
Sourwolf: Maybe it has something to do with that?
Robin: Maybe? I'll totally split the check in half with you if this is the reason the case gets solved. Deal?
Sourwolf: Deal.
Robin: Great. Now what would you like to talk about?
Sourwolf: Have you listened to the All Time Low song I suggested?
Robin: Time-Bomb or The Irony of Choking on a Lifesaver?
Sourwolf: Both!
Robin: They're absolutely amazing.
Sourwolf: I know right!
Robin: Yeah! I'm listening to them right now!!!!
Sourwolf: Really which song?!
Robin: Dear Maria, Count Me In.
Sourwolf: Always a good one. I'm reading right now.
Robin: Watcha reading?
Sourwolf: Don't laugh but, Twilight.
Robin: Why would I laugh. Those books are awesome. The movies sucked except for the last one.
Sourwolf: Finally someone! Everyone else I seem to talk to seem to think that because Taylor Lautner takes off his shirt in every movie it somehow makes them amazing.
Robin: Taylor Lautner taking off his shirt is never a bad thing but, it doesn't save a dry movie because of how it was written, directed, and acted!
Sourwolf: Exactly my point. I think my sisters and my mother paused the TV for two hours yesterday just talking about Taylor Lautner and his abs while we were watching Shark Boy and Lava Girl.
Robin: OMG! Really? I love that movie! Lol that's too funny.
Sourwolf: It was my favorite as a kid.
Robin: A Cinderella Story was mine still is mine. It was one of my favorites and now I watch it all of the time.
Sourwolf: Laura loves that one.
Robin: I just love the ending. It makes me happy that even though Sam said that basically she is done putting up with Austin's shit but they still end up together. He goes after her which makes me happy.
Sourwolf: That should make everybody happy.
Robin: I agree with you on that.
Sourwolf: It's 2am in the morning. I have practice in a couple hours.
Robin: Good night Sourwolf. I'll message you tomorrow?
Sourwolf: Sounds perfect. Good night Robin
