Hello my name is Parker Mellark I'm 12 years old and I have a brother that is 15 years old and loving mom and dad Katniss and Petta Mellark. The other day I heard my parents having this strange talk about this woman named President Coin. I have NO clue who that woman is, but whatever. They were saying she wants to bring back the Hunger Games. My mom and dad were both in it, they tell me a little bit about it but not that much. But what they do tell me is that people die and there is only 1 person who survives! And ages 12-18 have to go but if you win you get rich! Oh I would love that but I wouldn't want to risk my life for it! "Honey, we have to tell you something." my father says in disbelief, "You know the Hunger Games your mother and I talk about?" I nod,"Well they might bring it back..." I look into my dads deep green eyes and start to cry. I look at my mom, I run over and hug her so tight I didn't want to let go. At this point my brother Jake Mellark comes over looks at my mom and dad, and bawled. I've never seen him cry like this in my life. But I could tell this is really serious! He looks at me with his green eyes and whispers,"Why does it have to be us?"
