When I'm gone

Seventh Grade (Years of 2014-15)

      Sometime towards the middle and end of the school year something was told to me that I wish I hadn't known about. Apparently, a friend of mine who I had known since elementary school (around third grade) had been talking about me behind my back. Her name is Kelly. No, I'm not afraid of her reading this one day and knowing exactly who this is. In fact, I'd be glad if that happened.
     Anyway, I had gotten two major surgeries in sixth grade and my doctor had wanted me to record and write about my life after the surgery; I had been telling my friends around the school due to me being excited about this opportunity. I had never thought of my doctor, Dr. John Blanco, a doctor I clearly dislike who told me that I was the worse case he ever saw and the most surprising recovery- would ask me to do this.
       I was ecstatic to do this! To this day I haven't done it yet, (04-25-16) but I am planning to very soon. Anyway, one of my friends Lizzy, (bless her soul, for always being there for me during all the bullshit that I've endured. She would be considered a saint) told me that Kelly had been calling me stuck up and  snobby behind my back, saying that I thought I was the best just because of my opportunity.
       I confronted Kelly about this, knowing she's a fake bitch but still thinking I can set things straight. I asked her about what Lizzy told me and was met with her saying that Lizzy was lying. Mind you, Lizzy would never lie to me, much less about something like this. Once Kelly and I had undergone this conversation I slowly drifted away from her.
